I was gifted one of these a couple of years back, the electronics were shot in it so I just sat on it for a long time. It has since become the favourite of any guitar I have owned (except maybe the jem) It's very versatile, the pickups are nice, it's a class act all the way.
Yah I have a Schecter Demon 7, Black Cherry in color, Now i am looking for one of these. yes they sure are a eye catcher, Cheers..........Good Basic Review, Thabks!
@@kaptpikemy comment may have misled you, I didn’t upgrade this particular guitars pickups. But I have upgraded several others to fishman or SD and they usually make a noticibale difference. This guitars stock pickups were pretty good so I left them as is

@@DavidsMusicChannel yes I m ok with my Jackson ,but the sound is just ......average🤷. I also have a strat with the first volume knob removed, so I can play comftbl....that s it !!!
@@Ouzo66 yeah that’s the best. I never usually use any volume/tone controls on the guitar. you’ll probably have to upgrade the pickups on the JS22 to make it sound better
I bought one years ago. Best buy for your money!!! Sounds soooo goood!!!!
Yeah definitely 👍

Thanks for sharing. Yeah it’s a quality built instrument and feels great 👍

Hey thanks! Eye catchers indeed and rather good players too. Cheers!
Gorgeous guitar.
Thanks! Yeah it is one stunner indeed
I got one, same in cherry quilted. Changing the pickups transforms this 6/10 guitar into a 8/10 or maybe a 9/10 one.
Very true! I’ve been surprised how some of my guitars have been transformed with a simple pickup upgrade!
what pickups did you upgrade to?

Thinking of returning my Jackson JS22-7 HT and getting one of these instead. I do worry about the neck being thicker though
The neck is definitely on the thicker side so factor that in. The LTDs are not bad too.
My guy that was a beautiful demo, is that yours? Absolutely loved the composition

🔥🔥
Thanks!
just ordered this for my first electric guitar! i’m so intimidated LOL
Oh don’t be! It’s close enough to a 6 string so the learning will be similar. luckily you didn’t buy an 8th string first 😀 that would be a shocker

I wanted to buy this one, but the volume knob is too close to my hand , and I found it unconfortable...so I went for the Jackson js 22 7 strings
Oh like a strat! Makes sense. The Jackson should be a faster neck too. Hopefully you got a good QAd axe. 👍
