In Sweden the fish tail braid is called "fiskbensfläta" which translates to "fish bone braid" and that makes sense because it looks like a fish bone!

I've loved long hair on men since I was a child. Braids are a perfect way to keep hair from tangling and getting in the way, and they don't require spending money on any styling products. Great video!

I can't braid my hair to save my life. I always wind up with one short stumpy little piece of hair and two long strands about halfway through.
It takes practice to learn to "see" with your fingers. I've found that it was easiest to learn while NOT looking in the mirror, but forcing my brain to learn/remember what position the strands are in. Eventually, the process becomes mechanical, but not w/o quite a few false starts. You can totally learn to do it!
Thank you! Weirdly enough I can braid other people's hair just fine. I think maybe my head is lopsided, LOL. :) But I really appreciate you commenting on my comment, because that's just plain nice. :)

@@aruhe6650 curly hair is really nice too!! i have curly hair, my sister has straight, i see the differences, and while the curly hair gives more work, it kinda looks better in a lot more hairstyles and has a bigger variety bcs it holds better

thank you for this. im a mom trying to figuer out my youngest son's long strait hair. he resently developed a dermatitis of the scalp and I want keep it in easy braids while we medicat it without cuting or shaving his head. he's 6 so it neefs to be simple and fast or he will wiggle away. this helped me alot as we have long strait fine hair.😊

Straight hair is back 🥵 for me and myself and I it's going to be so long and healthy and I might try french braids when my hair get a little longer it's getting there but when I get straight hair I'm going to try a different styles and my hair not getting cut no more I'm going to have all my hair for the rest of my life begins in 3 2 1🥴
