How To Make LED Tester Using Phone Charger

All led tester circuit. Few people know this trick.
This diy homemade led tester is very useful for testing, led tv backlight , led bulb , led emergency light , led tube light , led tourch
and also 1.2 v led , 3 v led , 5 v led & 6 v led.
you can make this amazing tester at home using only 5 volt old mobile phone charger, 2 multimeter probes ( red & black ) and a 100 ohm 1/4 watt resistor.

charger exits 5v whereas led may of different volts I. e. 3-6. if tester is of high volt it can damage LED.

It's a good DIY :if you can add a digital read out in this it will give the info on the voltage the LED's consume. Further is it possible to check the Diodes with this. If so what modifications are required to be made in this?. Please enlighten me.

good idea, but you should know that it will not work with all types of LEDs, because the output is 5 volts, and most LEDs are less than this voltage.

That's why I use a resistor to drop voltage, it will not damage any led even 1.8v led glow normal
