Both bikes are T1000 or T1100 framed bikes, and are only worth 3k at the most with di2. Names matter little when its all coming from Chinese suppliers. You have to be crazy to buy either of these bikes.
With Cube you get what you pay for. I have a Cube frame, yes they are cheaper than competition, but if I look closely at my Cube frame you can see that the manufacturing quality is not that great when compared to some other frames.
Sergio B. Get the Bike you love to ride and that makes you happy. I ride the F12 and love riding it more than any bike I ever rode. I never rode a cube and don’t want to tarnish what they do. Having £3k more in my wallet wouldn’t give as much extra happiness, as this bike has, so for me, the Pina was the right Choice.
I'd personally go for a Cube C:68x Race teamline + better wheels (Hunt 48) & GP5000TL (28/32c) It's the exact same frame, 12 speed wireless, and most importantly, not a black colored bike (again). The only problem is, I like clip-on aero bars...
Does anyone else find paintjobs on modern bikes boring and cheap looking? I remember my bike from 2005 had 3 shades of metallic grey and for 10k today you get what looks like red vinyl wrap.
Can I direct this question directly to Editor Warren Rossiter? I'm assuming Pinarello asked what size frame you needed for this test. I know it's a 57.5cm, but I was wondering how tall you are and what your inseam measurement is. I'm considering a Pinarello for my next bike and I've found that their geometry and sizing is a bit different from most other manufactures with an especially tall stack. I'm 193.5cm tall with a 94.2cm inseam. Thank you.
Sorry but these DTSwiss wheels are too thin, the tire protrude and kill any aero benefits. They need to revise them for the 25+ mm tires currently used. No comment on the Fulcrum an insult in your face for the price with these exposed nipples. Lastly disc wheels have a much higher spoke count resulting in weight increase (rotational at that) and shite aero. You can keep both of these, I need a bike that performs not one that looks good, sorry.
Get better fork compliance on a rim brake bike as well because doesn't have to be able to take all the braking force at the end of the fork. Nice to have a fast, simple and light road bike that cost a tenth of this Pinarello. Got discs on everything other than my dry weather road bike though.
