THIS - THIS type of content is why I originally started watching TFL videos all those years ago. Loads of fun, a little adventure, and enjoyment for all. Thank you, guys.
LOVE the Bruhonka! I always keep a lighter for frozen door locks. Just heat up the key and hit the lock for a second and it should warm it up enough to work... Another tip is for trailered vehicles in really cold weather is to have an exhaust hose extension to run under the towed vehicle to warm up the engine bay. RV dump hoses that collapse and extend are perfect!
Used to use these Buhanka for work all across Mongolia in the late 90s. The UN and Mining company guys had Landcruisers and used to annoy us by speeding past. They got there in 4 hours to our 8... Still preferred our ride... lie back on the sacks and watch the steppe roll by at leisure...
the UAZ 452 is a beast of a van. it used to be used all throughout East Germany and Berlin with Russian Forces. It was a great utility van and there were everywhere.
FABULOUS! I am Australian I love my two door JL Wrangler I love the Buhanka next Can't find a Buhanka dealer anywhere handy. Keep the Buhanka videos coming!
A few comments: Glad you all brought Frank! Does the Buhanka have old gas in it - maybe that's why it's not starting very well? When David mentioned he'd feel more comfortable in the Buhanka I noticed Andre didn't offer to trade... Nice counterpoint with David fiddling with the shock settings on the Ram while Andre was rattling around the inside of the Buhanka riding on old wagon suspension... TFL should do a suspension upgrade project on the Buhanka - give it a control arm coil spring suspension like a modern Wrangler has. Collab with Fox for some nice shocks for it.
I've been waiting for this and it's a great production. The vistas are breath taking. Kudos to Andre, David and Alex. Looking forward to the next part. By the way, the Russian way to start a vehicle in the cold is to build a wood fire under the engine to warm the crankcase and battery. Like a good smoker, they use the coals not the flames which will burn things (to the ground).
I've been waiting for this video. I felt it when Andre said "I can't believe I'm driving my van through downtown Moab on my way to an off road trail. I'm living my dream." I felt that last weekend driving through a creek in my JLU in a convoy of 20 jeeps. It's what I bought it for.
Andre, awesome episode and I love the simplicity of the Buhanka. Quick note though, the Ram has only picked up about 2 inches of actual ground clearance as measured to the bottom of the pumpkin. With independent suspension, a lift will gain you actual ground clearance at the expense of CV angles and durability. With solid axles, actual ground clearance comes from increased tire size only due to the pumpkin. You did gain approach, departure, and breaker angles though.
Love the content of the Buhanka series. This was a great video showing both these vehicles! Also is it just me or does Andre face look like he is on a roller coaster ride when he is driving the Buhanka on bumpy trails? 😀
Great video... looking forward to the next part. Please take some time and show life with the Ale-cab and the build in the Buhanka... you guys keep making these great builds and gloss over the overnight/cooking/living aspects.
Need to put on a double steering stabilizer from the aftermarket on that van. It help a lot with the kick back in the steering wheel. It'll save your fingers from getting jammed or broken.
This is one fun video to watch! Great job Andrey, David, and Alex, but my favorite scenes are those showing Frank helping David look out over the hood of that Ram. LOL Honorable mention goes to the many different grimaces of Andrey bouncing and jouncing along in that Buhanka. I think we may have seen why overlanders haven't been lining up to import Buhankas. ;-) Keep up the great work TFL!
Andre was describing how people go about explore the far reaches in the Buhanka. Me being more from the powersports world, it sounded like he was describing a Ural lol.
How are you running dirt at high pressure in the tires? Drives me crazy watching a vehicle struggle with traction and lack of suspension when you could take a few minutes and enjoy the ride much better without abusing your ride as much.
Great video! I’ve been waiting for more content like this! Andre, I’m sure you’ve got more plans for your van. A few ideas I’d throw out are Kilmat the heck out of the van for sound deadening and some insulation. Then some decent carpet throughout would probably add to all that as well and it’s finish the interior a bit. Would love to see y’all do some more diy.
Awesome video guys, I'm worried about that starter on the Buhanka getting over worked, have you guys tried giving the intake a squirt of carb cleaner spray or starting fluid when you start it cold? That would rule out if it's a fuel issue or spark.
I’m pretty sure you need to get some conical type lug nuts for those wheels or that’s just going to keep happening and the wheel probably isn’t centered on the hub at all.
Andre your van is a old big mean RussianliGrandma!! Try to keep using only the ethanol free gas and might want to check fuel psi!! Seems like the fuel is evaporating out of the lines
I'm all talking to the tv get out of there David. My wife said ooh David is here ? No he's on the tv 🤦♀️. David stay out of that Buhankas exhaust!!!😊🫣🤘🤘🤘
The route you all took a stock Ram 2500 can do easily, but it was a enjoyable video nonetheless. I have even seen a stock wrangler with a stock Taxa Outdoors Cricket do the route you all did (as I was with them). For the most part, the Overland builds people do are all excessive and none of them actually need to be that built up. It’s more of a looks cool and people enjoy doing it. But I mean it’s part of the fun of it.
Ok, so Andre wouldn't it he a good idea to take that heavy tire off Buhanka? It's prov what caused your insulation to work loose and you look a little top heavy as it is. Also I woukd have jacked up Buhanka to tighten those lugs.
Love this. Thought van life was driving said van to destinations. Just giving you some crap loved the video and glad you got it there to hit some trails. Was curious how your van was doing. Probably won't be getting another one out of russia for a long time now.
Buhanka has vent windows?!!! Definitely the coolest vehicle on any trail or road! My first two Rangers had those and I still miss them today. Save the manuals and BRING BACK THE VENT WINDOWS!!!
never fails, TFL always starts off with a very good truck, and then they ruin it by putting a camper in the truck bed. The ford godzilla v8 had to suffer through this as well.
I love you guys AND you sometimes make me crazy! You put your rig in 4X4 the moment your front wheels touch dirt, why, to care for THE TRAIL! Love your work, Love Andre and David! Be Well My Friends.
Sie sollten die untersetzung und das einlegen des Allrades im rollen einlegen. 3- 5 kmh sind optimal und schont das Getriebe. Schöne Grüße aus Deutschland.
THIS - THIS type of content is why I originally started watching TFL videos all those years ago. Loads of fun, a little adventure, and enjoyment for all. Thank you, guys.
Thank you!!! They've really disappointed lately. Waiting forever for the Diablo video .
Thank you for watching! -Andre.
Feel ya. They started to get non-entertaining. The purchase of the new vehicles are dreadful. The Raptor purchase was just a skip.
@@cummins12valve57 Agree 100%
David know how to blow on & get that Russian coochie cookin baby
Kid got the magic lips
LOVE the Bruhonka!

You guys always make the videos fun. That Buhanka seems to be top heavy and rough riding but capable. Great job guys. Frank is a nice addition.
This was a great video, it's so cool to see the Buhanka in Moab, I'm from Moab so it makes it even more special.
FABULOUS!
I am Australian
I love my two door JL Wrangler
I love the Buhanka next

The Buhanka reminds me of the old FC jeeps that came in different configurations . That would be a great 4x4 to test.
the Buchankie/Bread Loaf is holding up impressively

I love the Buhunka! If you play the Snowrunner video game the LOA4, affectionately called the Loaf, is a favorite. It's great to see one in real life.
I love those videos of the UAZ!
I've been waiting for this video. I felt it when Andre said "I can't believe I'm driving my van through downtown Moab on my way to an off road trail. I'm living my dream." I felt that last weekend driving through a creek in my JLU in a convoy of 20 jeeps. It's what I bought it for.
That Burhanka looks like it's at home in Afghanistan when y'all went four wheeling in Mojave.
What a great video. Great to see David and Andre out in the elements.
Thank you for watching!

Frank is the man. He needs his own off-roading series. Frank conquers all...

The first cooking and overnight video is coming tomorrow on TFLtruck channel.
@@TFLoffroad Awesome... seeing it's up right now!
14:25 I think it is safe to say we are most thankful for Andre above anything else from his home country.

🤣 quite a character, David should be in every off road video from now on
I would love to see Andre do a Jeep 4.0L swap on the Buhanka. Lots of torque, lots of spare parts and pretty indestructible.
That 4 cyl is already crammed in there, a big I6 wouldn't fit.
It’s basically a Laferrari and you still want a jeep engine
Fantastic edit and content!
Love your Buhanka!
Andre was describing how people go about explore the far reaches in the Buhanka. Me being more from the powersports world, it sounded like he was describing a Ural lol.

That buhanka is so cool
Frank riding shotgun like a trail spotter!
It’s 2023 it can be what ever it wants. As long as it stays badass.
André, on a mild upgrade, get rid of your body lift, and get your suspension lifted. Both your buhanka and back side will thank you for it
There are magic word when you are starting Bukhanka, you need to say ‘davai-davai, suka’, and it will start instantly! 🤣🤣
Awesome video guys, I'm worried about that starter on the Buhanka getting over worked, have you guys tried giving the intake a squirt of carb cleaner spray or starting fluid when you start it cold? That would rule out if it's a fuel issue or spark.
Watching Andre get slammed around by that Buhanka was absolutely hilarious!!! Loved the video.
For a 100k you and all friends could be having Buhanka fun. Give me the low buck 4x4 anytime.
THANKS TFL FOR A ANOTHER ENTERTAINING SUNDAY MORNING 🙏...THANKS TFL CAMERA NINJA ALEX👏👏👏....HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY EVERYONE ✌️
That thing would be perfect overland vehicle if it had a modern drivetrain.
So glad David is back
I like this series a lot. This is my favorite content. And David’s humor cracks me up! Lol
Who knew this channel needed a crazy yak farmer!
Have you put Engine restore in the buhanka? I wonder if that would help your startup issues.
David is the man simple and to the point .👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Real adventure. Good job guys! Can’t wait for the next one.
After all the beating up Andre took from the Buhanka, he might need to get his spine and neck realigned. 😲
I’m pretty sure you need to get some conical type lug nuts for those wheels or that’s just going to keep happening and the wheel probably isn’t centered on the hub at all.
Its certainly worthy of further investigation as those UAZ 4x4 vans are pretty tough so it should not have happened.
@6:30, "water crossing", we have puddles deeper than that on our roads in the spring :D
Andre your van is a old big mean RussianliGrandma!! Try to keep using only the ethanol free gas and might want to check fuel psi!! Seems like the fuel is evaporating out of the lines
Si fordul meu nou la minus 13 a înghețat de două ori că nu mai putea pleca de pe loc

Finally! What we’ve all been waiting for!
Your torque speck on the lug seems low, love the video! The torque on my cars ranges from 85 to 95 foot pounds.
I was thinking the same thing.
Andre living the dream in a van, down by the river.

Buhanka needs 2.8 Cummings swap or 1.9 VW. K swap would be nice too...
Perfect terrain for the Buhanka, it looks like the Caspian zone in Metro Exodus, but luckily minus the mutants, outlaws and radioactive dust storms. 😊
LMAO, I know the Buhanka isn't a Saviem SG-2 but the desert scenes were looking just a bit like Spies Like Us.
And Chernobyl diaries
What year is the van?
Ok, so Andre wouldn't it he a good idea to take that heavy tire off Buhanka? It's prov what caused your insulation to work loose and you look a little top heavy as it is. Also I woukd have jacked up Buhanka to tighten those lugs.
At least move tire to middle of top of mighty Buhanka.
Love this. Thought van life was driving said van to destinations. Just giving you some crap loved the video and glad you got it there to hit some trails. Was curious how your van was doing. Probably won't be getting another one out of russia for a long time now.
I really need to make Moab a bucket list item.
I know how to fix Andre's van troubles. Step 1: remove radiator cap....... Step 2: replace vehicle.... Step 3: install radiator cap.
You should have put fox shocks on the uaz
André your little Russian van is the best.
Andre needs to get with Holley and see if they can fit the breadbox with a fuel injection system
I'm 8 months late but the carbed engine has been retrofitted with a fuel injection system and... Yeah...
More of this please! Get that new to yall AEV JK out there along with whatever other wild shenanigans you come up with!
Can see when you were locking the hubs that the wheel nuts were loose then
That poor Buhanka starter!
Love the vid!
Glad the buhanka is fuel injected Andre what have had trouble with stalling!
Buhanka has vent windows?!!! Definitely the coolest vehicle on any trail or road! My first two Rangers had those and I still miss them today.
Save the manuals and BRING BACK THE VENT WINDOWS!!!
Co-pilot Frank!
you can add kilmat sound dedner its cheap stuff fix the tin can
Yes...I definitely want a piece of that jerky, David!
Andre'. Shove a inline 6 cummins turbo, or Subaru 6 cylinder turbo, then add better springs and shocks. Then ride on... Cool van!
Yeah, Bukhanka ❤️😂
never fails, TFL always starts off with a very good truck, and then they ruin it by putting a camper in the truck bed. The ford godzilla v8 had to suffer through this as well.
Shocks are like $50/wheel from Rockauto, should of switch them out before this trip
you can get 30 9.50 15 tires on a different brand
Definitely need more dogs in videos
What kind of shell/camper is that?
that is a hard starting van!!
Great video. I don't think any lubricant is good for theels nuts. Easy come easy loose.
More content like this TFL! Adventures!
wich is the best f150 fx4 v8 or v6 twine turbo pleas answer
Hay DB. Get some new spark plugs and set the trimming.
I love you guys AND you sometimes make me crazy! You put your rig in 4X4 the moment your front wheels touch dirt, why, to care for THE TRAIL! Love your work, Love Andre and David! Be Well My Friends.
the buhanka needs to form a relationship with WD40 spray can
That is buhanka is worse than my old Powerstroke diesels in cold weather...
Andre needs to feed that thing some Cosby Sauce.
2:34 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Roman needs to buy a Jeep FC and set it up for offroading and take it out with Andre...classic American vs Russian.
Its not going to be fun to keep that thing running. Its kind of cool though.
Good looking loaf of bread
Sie sollten die untersetzung und das einlegen des Allrades im rollen einlegen. 3- 5 kmh sind optimal und schont das Getriebe. Schöne Grüße aus Deutschland.
Great thing of that van if engine breaks you stay inside while repairing it ehhehe
Love it!
protip: dont ever try to unfreeze your locks with breathing. water is the problem
