As someone relatively new to Brig, this was quite helpful!
I'm more of a Kiriko player but trying to branch out into Brig too. I find it really is tricky to measure out aggression to fit what you can get away with. I'm used to just trying to put knives in faces instead of wasting the other team's time and offensive assets.
If Sombra stays the way she is I'm gonna need you to do a video solely on going up against her, because that shit is bullcrap atm 😅
Try to always shield off hacks/virus attempts try to keep fellow support and othet close by team mates safe from her attacks. If she attack i.e. your ana, you can pack her and then put more pressure on the sombra.

She usually hacks from behind so have high sensitivity and be prepared to shield it.

Flicking on console is pretty easy if the sensitivity is high. I play on ninety vertical, ninety horizontal.

Hello, I've been trying to use brig only, currently 50% winrate in low diamond, Xbox. I have a lot of good/bad games, I played brig 1.0 and I think I play with that mentality 😂 Pack stacking stats. Do console games have replay codes? Do I record the whole game from my pov and upload to RUclips maybe?

The end of this is a bit surprising to see in masters to me. Off angling is soooooo fundamental to this game. Someone simply has to off angle there. The Brig probably isnt the ideal candidate but if nobody is doing it, you should be doing it. Literally doesnt matter what character you play, someone needs to force the opponent to turn their camera instead of just sitting there getting farmed like an aim trainer bot down a hallway. Just a few seconds of distraction can allow your team to advance past the choke and get a more advantageous position. Its really, really easy to defend a single chokehold, especially with a poke comp on high ground like that.

educational queen.. also I would just recommend people to watch shift's stream then you would immediately know about the importance of high ground and hiding from EMP. like, he talks about it every time he does it when he plays the game. that's why I love his streaming

Why’s it good to always auto attack when not shielding ? Is it just to get into the habit ?
Just that there's no reason not to, you're not any slower and if someone chances into your field it's an early advantage or a glancing blow as they pass through. Means you dont have to react as fast.

@@ramaladingdong4998be aware if you’re trying to hide from the enemy. Brig is really loud and her flail sticks out a lot. If you’re hiding, then that’s the only time you don’t auto-flail, otherwise, swing away.
Also reduces visual clutter, same as Rein. The mace/hammer takes up a lot of the screen on the right side and you miss things in the corner. Keep swinging to keep the screen neater

Is brig supposed to be on high ground?
YES
kinda, she is not great alone but if you have for example a soldier with you, a character like winton or genji or sym or echo or reaper might have a hard time getting up there to kill the 2 of you if you are attentive and boop them away with whipshot
Brig should be always looking for opportunities to deny enemies' angles, such as high ground, flanking angles. Some people might think you should go swing the tank and trigger the inspiration, but actually a good soilder flank / reaper TP can easily kill your whole backline, prevent enemies taking angle is the most important task for Brig.
You got any tips for protecting your other support while doing that? Find it kinda impossible to do those kinda plays in QP
