Love this guide, so many ppl do what's the most optimal and don't give an easy overview of when u first pick up an affiliation.
Would like to see an update with all the new stuff now
That.... is a good idea
Just getting into this and 3 months later it's still helpful thank you!
I have been curious about this as a new player. Though coming from other miniature games I know these are subjective but I feel this video covered that well.
Thanks for the awesome list. I chose Uncanny X-Men for my first affiliation. Good to know I have a bit of an uphill climg
This latest wave does a lot to help them fill out their roster, but they have some cool tricks up their sleeves once you get used to them.
Excellent analysis and a worthy consideration for players of all skill levels.
Thanks, thought it was a fun twist on the tier list idea.
Great video very helpful and made me very excited to get my xforce on the table
Love it. Theres so many affiliations now, my wallet simply cant keep up.
Its handy to have an idea how things shape up play wise to help point which way i might go next.
Cracking as always :)
Nice breakdown. Useful to direct new players to as a helpful guide.
Awesome guide for new players! Helps them understand the pros/cons of different affiliations to assist in their purchasing decisions initially.
As a new player, I am grateful for these type of videos
I'm glad to hear that Spider-foes are an easy affiliation! They are all so cool, so I'm glad that they aren't complicated to play!
A pretty interesting concept for a tier video thou.
great vid, i hope defenders gets some love soon
Didn't expect to see Spidey-Foes up so high, noice
I love the ratings for ease of play. I like the fact that ease of play doesn’t necessarily mean they are a better or worse tier.
Love tier lists, especially when people explain why they rate what they do.
I find this list interesting because I've run Asgard a bunch of times and honestly I've never lost with Asgard
I wish now I went all in for avengers. I started with web warriors
Still not a bad place to start, just a bit more of a learning curve.
Very interesting, but I think it essentially comes down to "big hammer (attrition) = easy for new players". So, it's good to have that laid out, but it would then be good to lay that by the side of where people should maybe be aiming for once they've learned the subtleties and nuances?
Good list. I’m glad nothing is guaranteed since dice make it interesting.
Well articulated video!
Nicely done guide. Pretty much agree. Though Cabal maybe could be on point with avengers as its just about putting down with skull...well I feel it is... 🤣
The leadership is very straightforward, but because they have so many characters with control elements it’s just a bit more difficult to understand their timing of activations.
@@TheGamersGuild Good point well made. I should probably try that more often but I seem to go for broke and kill. 🤣
And you know… they are pretty good at that too 😅
I humans are, IMO, the hardest but most fun team to play. There are so many positioning considerations.
Gotta disagree about the Foes. Those characters and cards have so many reactive effects that you can stack up for evil genius turns in a way that rewards planning deeply
I like your breakdown
How to make mutants s tier??
One day I'll play my non web warrior affiliations... not today but one day.
Some interesting choices
I think Criminal Syndicate is pretty easy to play as a new player.
8 months down the line now and since they only recently came out where would people put the Sentinels on this list?
Not sure personally. Haven't gotten to properly try them out yet. However, having three big Size 5 boys that nobody's moving off points sounds very tough to shake, amazing attacks with the three best conditions in the game, but surprisingly fragile for how big they are, especially damaging themselves with builders on the other side.
Great power economy having effectively 3 a turn for free, but I think they might struggle to find things to spend it on, maybe tactics cards. I can't say what ranking they'd be, but they seem similar to Dark Dimension/Thanos in that they have fewer but more powerful models, so probably B.
Before they banned all you got , most games rocket would throw 36+ dice. I agree easy to run and have fun lol.
Finally some love to my lovable misfits. :)
Super interesting analysis. My only complaint is that teh resolution of the graphics is terrible on my end.
I think black order is harder to play
Spider-Foes in S even with Carnage and Mysterio with their weird defenses? Poor positioning can really get you punished. Also I forget Tricks and Traps all the time. Don't get me wrong they're my favorite affiliation, but I would put them in A not S
Spider-Foes gets crushed at our table. All those 4 dice attacks are baaad. Any tips for playing them at a higher level?
@@CompleteNonsense I'm definitely no pro, but I use Kraven or Lockjaw to help with the 4 dice attacks but really most of my attrition comes from Carnage. It's just really punishing when he gets dazed immediately by some energy attacks for being out of position. So I'm careful before I move him
