I made a cover picture of a wonderful movie, THE MEG.
This movie is really great, I want you to watch it.
I think it is a good representation of the giant creatures rising from the sea.
In this resin art, about 2 kg of resin was used.

usually do a base paint layer.
hey, we have the same profile picture cool. :)
When painting, it's a common practice to leave the whites at the end because the other layers can stain them by accident.
I'm guessing he puts the white base on everything else to make sure the teeth get fresh and clean white layers at the end.

Only thing I would've changed is back side of the shark. I'd close that, so that there is this blackness bellow the lady. That abyss is what makes it extra scary. :D

Imagine you're just chilling on the beach, having a grand time, and then just get engulfed by a giant shark out of nowhere.
Or even worse. Your are at the beach, chilling and having a grand time, then a massive shark breatches just far enough away that it does not injured you, and you see someone who could have been you be swallowed by the beast. Like...is it even worth trying to get to shore at that point?

Here is the real Meg at the end of the movie. Look at the size of its mouth compared to the character on his head. The cover art makes it look at least three times as big. And even then, the Meg in the movie is much larger than its real-life counterpart was ever proven to grow. The largest megalodon was 18 meters long, and on average it is believed they grew to 10 meters in size. The meg in the movie was 25 meters long, a little bit smaller than a Blue Whale, the largest thing to ever exist on the planet.
If the Meg was as large as in the cover art, it would have been bigger than the blue whale.

I love how this rather "simplistic" diorama (when compared to your later works) still get this much love and attention to detail.

I found this channel randomly on my recommended today and I’ve just been binging all their videos; they’re incredibly satisfying to watch and holy hell the sheer amount of detail that goes into all of these is astounding. So anyways, I’ll just be here, crying over the fact I can’t even sculpt a round circle.

Pretty much just a big shark 🦈 a lot of creatures that we see today were bigger back then dragonfly, crocodiles 🐊 camels 🐪 wolfs 🐺 clams, rhinos 🦏 we are getting smaller and weaker, every new generation loses genes 🧬 this goes against evolution

Scary as hell!! I loved watching you make Meg, with all the incredible detail. I also loved the fact that a fair amount of the detail got lost under the "water". As in the movie Jaws, our imagination creates so much more to what we see, and makes it better. I think Meg is perfect the way she is!!!

Also, you make it look so easy (model making), I might have to try making something small, and see what happens. I work with resin, so I have part of it done.

I love The Meg, but it has the same flaw as jaws: it showcases that sharks are mindless killing machines that will try to destroy anything and everything
The Meg was attempting to bring in the Jaws nostalgia audience and failed. Also, Jaws was inspired by shark attacks that happened along the Jersey shore in 1916.

No tiene nada que ver con el video, pero para mi la pelicula de meg estuvo un 8/10 de calificacion.
Claramente no es ni de lejos una joyita cinematomatografica memorable, pero tampoco es que sea un desperdicio de pelicula, es mas para pasar el tiempo que para recordar con gloria

What makes your art so fantastic is the attention to detail. I had number 12 pop up in my recommended and couldn't get enough, I have started from #1 and watched them all. And subscribed for more. Keep up the inspiring work.

My only recommendation would be to paint the area within the shark's mouth black (on the back of the model to block light there) so that it looks like the entire shark is there and not just the disembodied head.

焼いて硬化するタイプの粘土だから材料費自体はそんな高くないはず…知らんけど
見てみたらレジンは数十万円するそうなので粘土も含めて数百万円ですかね……
This is amazing! Meg is one of my favorite books, movie was fun too! You got a talent my friend! You earned a sub. Could you maybe do a Jaws poster or scene from Jaws (it's my favorite movie + it's gonna be 45th anniversary) variants of scenes that would be cool: Estuary attack (where guy on small boat gets bulled under), Fist kill, kid on the raft attack or cage attack from nearly end of the movie. Anyways, You're great buddy!
