The translation does not make you realize the real meanings of the songs because there are not english words for argentinian slang and bad words. 4 example: YUTA is a bad word to say policeman. CAGÓN means coward but its literally to make shit on your pants...

Coined by rivals, 'bostero' is a demeaning term used to insult Boca Juniors fans and it comes from the word 'bosta', or 'dung' in English. The stadium of Boca Juniors ('boca' means mouth, in this case it's a literal equivalent to Portsmouth) is located near a shallow stream of water that has been seriously contaminated for decades. Although it's way better now, at some point in the past its waters got to look like murky oil with a dreadful stench that could result almost unbearable at times, and visitors hated it when they had to go see their teams against Boca Juniors, hence the name 'bostero' ("you, your team and your whole neighborhood smell like...").

A slight correction about the origin of the name, the bostero was the "shitman".
It's literally the guy who worked cleaning horse dung from the streets back in the day, typical from the port and center of the capital, in which Boca resides.
On the other hand, River (Boca's rival) is located further away in the capital, hence why bosteros became a demeaning term for Boca's fans and players.

im not gonna lie boys, there's a whole lotta lore to these lyrics and they're definitely more vulgar than the translations suggest. Great vid though, we need pt 2 and 3

This is a funny video. I'm an American that moved to Argentina when I was almost 9 and I got hooked right away with the soccer culture. The black flags they reference is from a game that Boca lost to another team named Ferro 4-0 and they had black flags in the stands. All the fans reference the police protection but those are the hooligans who always make fighting references. I'm a fan of Argentinos Juniors and there was a chant against Velez that mentioned "we'll kill a 3rd one" so one day I asked a fan what that was about and he said "they killed 2 fans of Velez, so they reference about killing another one" and after I heard that, as a 16 year-old, I decided not to sing that one anymore.
There are also chants that are more towards just rooting for the team as well, but this is funny to see with the translations.

Fun fact: in the chant of San Lorenzo, the glorious butteler, its rhythm is inspired by a song "no me arrepiento de esté amor" by Gilda

You have to understand this... River(Millonarios, gallinas)- Boca Jrs (bosteros) / Racing (Academia)vs Independiente (Rojos)/San Lorenzo (cuervos)
Es como una batalla de "gallos" el futbol se juega en la cancha, pero las hinchadas, alientan con su alma y pelean a su modo por su equipo. PASION DE MULTITUDES.
