That's good, it's gotten so bad at the stores people being detained/arrested because of being accused of stealing and they have nothing or a receipt! My son and I was in Lowe's last week and a gentleman walked up to us saying that we watched you guys go all over the store! We were only on 2 isles and a representative was with us on one of them showing us options that would work for a ramp.

I worked retail for years and stores calling police about potential theft when the person is still shopping and hasn't moved beyond the POS is wrong. No the officer had no business checking to see if she had put something in her pocket because she could still have paid for it, which will get the case thrown out of court. Unfortunately, many employees don't understand these rules and laws.
They know just don't care. They use this tactic to scare the customer, the tyrants side with the store in most case's which is a huge problem.
