This station certainly offers quite a few different angles for different types of shots. I would like to visit here as it is a fantastic location with the S bends. Nice open layout as well. Think I'll wait till something special goes through on a warm day though is I can imagine it would be quite cold on a winters day. Enjoyed watching your video.
Your a brave man Richard, I don't think I could spend to long at RTV station, but saying that I do prefer going there than Nuneaton. Thanks for such a action packed video with such a good selection of classes. Regards Mike. ps That Royal Blue coach looks like its seen better day Richard..
For me RTV was a one visit only type of place. I really liked the swirling S bends etc. I noticed Kyle's video from Stafford had coal traffic heading south so I'm wondering where it went.. any ideas? And yeah, RTV would not be advised for a really long period. I had no food, no warm clothes and it rained.. I would have stayed approx 1 or 2 more hours had the weather been nicer. Thanks for your comment mate.
atomiswave1971 Richard I think you are referring to the GBRF Biomass trains to and from Ironbridge. You must have felt very low at RTV as there's no food or drink outlets. Mike.
Reuben Lee Panasonic HC-X800 (discontinued). Sorry I tried to remember the model by memory but got my letters mixed up. Please be aware the camera is only 50% of the equation. This camera films at 50hz and therefore youtube doesn't do it justice since there will be a huge sacrifice getting it to run on a 60hz monitor. I prefer to film via a tripod using static shots and the light plays a big part on how good your video turns out. You also need a recent computer to edit it all since 1080p/50fps is a handful for old computers. Hope this helps.
