  • Accompany us on our epic, sixty-day Kruger trip, driving the length and breadth of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. We traversed the park for eight weeks, on tarred roads, on gravel roads and on some rough roads which required four-wheel drive, all the while recording for this series some of the most awesome animal encounters; sharing with you the best drives, lookouts, dams, bush camps, water holes and restaurants of the Park, and documenting the environmental diversity of this vast and beautiful wildlife reserve. As you travel with us, we will take you to five Bush Camps, Pafuri Border Post and eight other Rest Camps, and visit two archeological sites, rich in the history of the indigenous people who inhabited this area from as far back as the Iron-age.
The sometimes rough and corrugated surfaces proved to be no match for the rugged reliability of the Toyota Prada which was our transport for the sixty days; and the dust, the bumping, the fluctuation in the temperature and the packing in-and-out, was not enough to dampen our resolve to honestly and meticulously document this trip. As you watch this series, we hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did!

Good to meet you in Kruger, safe travels and I'll be following along with interest! Ps. My mum (now gone but born in N. Rhodesia and the reason I came to Africa) was also named Gail and loved peppermint crisps :)
