Such class from FSR! I feel like the eagle guy would've been yelling, screaming, and beating his chest all while standing on the table...
Great match, congrats to Ruiz!
Shaw only does that in Mosconi Cups... in which, everyone does that in Mosconi Cups. Also, players usually only stand on the table after Major titles. The PLP is nice, but it's not a Major (even though Matchroom will say all their tournaments are "Majors").
@@chili015 I have only seen that once, and I was appalled.
@BabbittdaWabbitt - Seen what once? Standing on the table? That happens after every Major win. FSR did it when he won this year's World 9-ball. SVB did it the year before. Albin did it the year before... and so on. Biado did it when he won the US Open. It's also been a tradition for every winning Mosconi Cup team for a long time now that the entire team gets on the table. I have many more examples.
@@BabbittdaWabbittthen you just haven't attended or watched enough tournaments nor know much about pool and it's beautiful history, and that's okay. Keep studying and learning kid.
I love when they show character and yell, scream, beat on their chest as you say. If they not doing that I'm going to sleep of boredom. That's why Earl Strickland is the best, with the accolades to back it no one else has other than the REAL goat SVB.
These guys are so damn good!! Both of them. FSR Did his job extremely well and that one lucky roll behind the nine closed the deal. We all get lucky sometimes, more some than others. I could use a little more myself. Jayson is a beast and one of my favorites because he’s just a machine. The miss on the 3 ball plus the one lucky roll for FSR and that was it. Jayson was mad at himself, not FSR, but that can’t get in the way of good sportsmanship. I too struggle with myself when I think I could’ve won. No excuse. NEVER SHAKE A MAN’S HAND SITTING DOWN, EVER!
I too think a longer race for the final is better and think the outcome would’ve been different. However, FSR is for real. Congratulations to him!
Congrats to Jayson for winning the best actor Oscar this year....🙂
FSR is a beast yo. This dude killing it. He’s becoming my favorite player
20k top prize for a week long tournament seems like a shame for these top tier players who devote so much time and energy into this game. I appreciate what match room is trying to do, and for the quality video production, but man I hope they can eventually be compensated appropriately! I know that matchroom is putting a lot into getting pool to that point! Really routing for them to succeed.
You mean 10k. Because 50% winning-tax. So in the end only 10k.
More money to be made in the green room.
its pretty sad....you can win every title in a year and win less than 500k
10k for a week's "work" is ok.
@@nakkadu keep in mind all the players spending a week dedicated to this to make probably a fraction as 10k is the final prize.
Ese día cayó un ídolo, que mal por Shaw. Larga carrera a FSR, demuestra en cada torneo porqué es el mejor del mundo actualmente. 👏🏼🇲🇽🇪🇸
another win by the champ FSR! Question: Why is there no crowd even for the finals? Kinda kills the atmosphere.
Arguably 2 of the best pool players rn
Jayson Shaw should have at least stood up when shaking hands. Thats unfortunate behaviour
He’s a big ol’ fuckin’ baby.
He annoys me with his sportsmanship. He's a great player but a bit smug.
@@mitchellmayer6326 that’s what happens when you look like a Pug
Much ado about nothing. He offered his hand the very second that FSR turned around.
Maybe he's just battling a lot from within, we handle pressure differently
I would like that the final match have been at least race to 9 or 11. Good match from both!
Wild how Sanchez Ruiz seemingly came out of nowhere to become the guy to beat!
Sanchez Ruiz was always a good player. Just was the player in the shadow of Alcaide. But now his time to shine came.
No matter who you are, or how great your performance is, how you lose speaks VOLUMES about who you are vs how you win. As many events as he played in, he could’ve handled himself better. The smug handshake and how he accepted his trophy immediately looking for his chair after Emily handed it to him is completely unacceptable.
show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser
@@stdavis22 are you trying to imply theres no difference between being a dick when you lose, and being graceful in defeat?
When you see Messi and Ronaldo lose they are not happy.
I have to agree, looks a very poor loser to me.
@@stdavis22 NOBODY likes to lose, but NOBODY likes a sore loser !
And the crowd goes wild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jason Shaw no respect in the end handshake, could of stood up to shake his hand
You recognize a great player at the moment of his defeat. In that respect, Jason Shaw is a bit of a worm.
A wee fucking worm
He's got a bigger worm than you, that's for sure.
I totally agree.
FSR played more calmly and confidently even though several times he got difficult balls from JS who looked more ambitious to win which actually made his focus less and made mistakes.
This Ruiz guy is a beast honestly
Having a camera up in the commentators box is awesome
A word to Jayson... Sportsmanship is another expression. If you can celebrate your own victory like a king. You should celebrate the victory of others to. At least a little respectfully. And not be so unsportingly angry.
Jayson, dont cry, no siempre tienes que resultar ganador, mijo.
What a great game! 😁
wow gzz ruiz! well deserved bca calling!
Too good!
Shaw really only made one mistake and that was a tough shot man, do a race to 100 with him I think the results might be different… 9 ball at this level comes down to a few rolls here or there. That’s why the long races really are the only way to show who is playing better that day. Just my 2 cents, I’m sure I’m wrong. Great match and coverage👍👍
Fully agreed.
I cannot disagree, a race to 7 for the final of anything isn't enough.
The problem is about schedules, though, that's why it's so short
Nah I think you are correct. Shaw hit that thin 3 ball with perfect speed for shape on the 4 (which I can’t believe it didn’t fall) then scratched on the break. FSR broke, lost control of cue ball and was extremely fortunate to avoid scratch in corner. 2 great players, but sometimes just a few bad rolls is all it takes to lose a short race. I think Shaw is still the more talented, experienced/savage player between the 2. FSR is killing it lately but I think that will end soon.
The results of a race to 100 would be the same. It takes positive energy to find that magic FSR has. Go back and look at how FSR took his recent defeat. Jason sounds like he knew he was going to lose before he even started. Pretty sure he was saying “Yep” every time something didn’t go his way, like he expected it.
@@stevehiggerson7328 ya it’s a tough call but Shaw has some seasoning on FSR and pulls out some really tough shots under pressure. Either way I would love to watch them play a longer set of 9 ball and preferably winner breaks.
Shaw isnt on FSR's level and its not even close.I truly believe there are levels to this game and it was obvious in this video.
I race to 7 seems exceedingly short for that trophy. Wow.
Shaw parece un asesino en serie cuando le esconden la bola jjjjjjjj 🙏👍
Damn Francisco is on a tear
It seems like Shaw doesn’t accept defeat. Good for him, FSR didn’t celebrate hysterically as what Shaw typically does when winning. 😂😂
At ~ min. 23 “ More kisses than a bride on her hen night” ? New one on me…think that might be an oldie.
Didn't catch that first time😅😅😅
Congratulations
Why no fans?
jayson was so angry he made fsr so uncomfortable he didn’t even celebrate. not cool from jayson, he didn’t even stand up to shake the mans hand especially after him winning 3 majors in a row.. disgusting
VAMOOOOS!!!
Un poco mal de parte de Shaw al saludar sentado pero bueno. Ambos top playera actualmente. Felicidades a Ruiz, viene demostrando nivel
Francisco Sanchez Ruiz won it!!!
Jayson what a bad loser! I have a tissue for his tears.
i need the track they used to promote the European Open.
Eagle eye have transformed into penguin eye
Shaw is becoming a Strickland .big bady.
He's been one for some time. Bad sport, not likeable--but a helluva shotmaker
I'm from Spain and tbh was a really good game but Shawn was a little unlucky this game, it's amazing how any mistake can define the entire game
I can understand Jason's reaction because it was not him playing bad but he had so much bad luck. At least he reached the finals, earned money and respect. He should have been a better looser.
Можно было и поднять свой зад из уважения к сопернику и судье
El Ferrari 🏎️ Francisco Sánchez
Good dudes stand up to shake good dudes' hands.
Fair play. The kid’s good. Nuff said.
Shaw looks like a dart player
Play fast gotta run
"the ball getting more kisses than a bride on our hand-night🤣🤣🤣"
Where is 5he audience?
Alguien sabe porque se realizó este torneo sin público???
FSR is legit. Congrats 👏. He shouldn't feel sorry for kicking Shaws ass.
He hardly "KICKED HIS ASS" Some might say he even got lucky, as FSR actually said.
@billpii6314 , he was empathetic. Shaw was acting crushed. He couldn't even get out of his chair. Either way, both are great players.
Karl be kinda instigating 😅
@44:10 to 44:22 that's when Shaw lost it. He was watching the screen and saw the smirk...lol
I don’t get it. Even if Fran did smirk, since the camera was fixated on him, why would it rile up Jayson? Did I miss something?
@@shortydancer The scuttlebutt is that a few of the players were upset that FSR was being cocky. And Shaw really wanted to beat him. But what also got Shaw's goat was that FSR in the second rack did exactly what he tried in the first (and scratched to boot). FSR proved to me that he is one class act and Shaw - well, he showed his true colors in the end. No respect!
Watching it back, I think you are 100% correct!
Well that wasn’t awkward. For every winner, there’s a learner.
Jayson has gained some serious weight.
Where's the crowd?
I feel like Jayson Shaw could beat up any of these pool players in a fight. Maybe do some cross promo with Matchroom Boxing.
The purple ball is the 5 ? I've been watching this and can't figure out what ball there shootn at ...I thought the 5 was orange, why did they change the colors
Haha i dont know but the only way that FSR doesnt win a tournament is when he does not participate.
Thats literally only been the last 2
Thanks so very much for being such an amazing fan all these while. I'm pleased by the confidence you give to me, and I must concern myself with whatever concerns you.
I know i'm a very busy man,it comes with the profession but my fans are dear to my heart this is the reason I take out time to write my fans, first to appreciate them for the love and support and also to carry out an evaluation of why they love my ➡ Game's, as this will help me entertain my sweet fans better.
I would really love to know more about you. Where are you chatting from and how long have you been a fan?
No crowd...Why?
Love to watch all the games and see that Pool is getting more popular. But these matches in complete silence and the weird tension that seems to be in the room take away from the atmosphere for me and maybe prevent people who like to start playing. It doesnt seem inviting like this if you know what I mean
Jayson deserves a chip!
He already has a HUGE CHIP on his shoulder after witnessing his behavior…..lol
😂Only one word to describe Shaw to..er
Jason's getting lil plump.
I really want to like Jayson, he’s fun to watch, but he can be such a pouty dude.
Jayson plays with alot of emotions, he should atleast show respect and stand up and congratulate the opponent and show respect to the referee. Unclassy act.
Best on this plane not this planet
It is not necessary to clean the cue so much, the carbon slides perfectly and without a glove. Maniacs?
what is dimension of table
Today must be the breather’s day off
Why isnt there any viewers?
Ruiz a ấy rất ít khi nhảy bi 😮
Sanchez fortune only
Surprisingly for a premier Finals, it should've been a race to 11...just to give fairness for both players to heat up and showcase their full skills. Race to 7 Finals is too low key.
GGS FSR
What's wrong with Jay Shawn? Pretty bad loser, the way he shakes hands.
FSR winning all them trophies and money he’s trying to be like Tom Brady 😂😂😂😂
29:46 What english did Jason used for this shot?
Just top spin. Side makes it even difficult to cut the ball precisely.
Shaw’s gained a lot of weight, there’s something going on in his head. Whatever it is I hope he is okay.
Carlo Biado and Dennis Orcollo is not around,
I lost a lot of respect for Shaw here
*Jayson got smashed* 😮
It’s sad cause you can tell FSR wanted to celebrate so bad but didn’t because he was intimidated by Jayson. He is known to act out and it was visually noticeable that he was already aggravated.
Idc what anyone says fsr and shaw race to 14 shaw will win everytime js ruiz is a great player but look at the rolls in this final u cant deny it every single rack shaw didnt run out he has bad rolls js
Why a closed tourament with no spectators? This was like something from China or a library.
Ruiz has a super lucky, i like Jason playing he has very strong confidence on table but he doesn’t have lucky tonight
كسب رزق
Very weird having a celebration like that with no crowds lol Jayson unfortunately is a sore loser in this match. I know it hurts and sucks to lose.
Why are you calling him FSR? He isn't the latest nvidia GPU... his name is Francisco.
😂
Franklin Delano Roosevelt (the POTUS from 1933 to 1945) was commonly called FDR, FSR seems to be something similar.
@@z01t4n wow, what a legit argument..so, lets call then everyone by its initials like beloved Roosevelt, it's so cool!
Shane Van Boening is often called SVB. Nick names exist, there is nothing offensive about it as long as Francisco is fine with that. In fact, the shirt he is wearing says FSR.
@@mario_vicente yes, I totally agree, when you are mentioning his name in some random discussion, it's useful to name him FRS, because there are a lot of Fransicso's there..
But when the comments are here regarding just two players about their match (in this case Jason and Francisco) I don't really see a reason for so much emphasis, do you feel it's necessary?
Jason was a bit unlucky
shame how Jason behaves when FSR wins
Ruiz's Gesture for the golden break shows why it shouldn't be a win.
Being apologetic for a frame win is absurd.
Imagine a Hill-Hill-Golden-break-win in a final...
I can't think of much more Anticlimactic than that!
Shame that there is no crowd
Jayson sulking like a little girl.
Fundamentally and tempo wise he seems way off for his usual form. Hopefully it was just a bad day
Shaw always such a crybaby lol
Ruiz has been lucky the last 2 events
Jayson Shaw just play in Bar Pool yes, he is not sportsmanship.......just stop playing for competition dude.
