Glad you joined the tribe who ride. Have a friend who has a bike like yours, as a good deal. Didn't know how people who rode them felt. You kind of convinced me the Sabre's are decent commuters. That's my purpose for it, but burying myself in debt for it is nonsense. Thanks for your own thoughts and really like your attitude about riding. Very best wishes.
My first helmet communicator was a BT-S2 and it's still going strong on my spare helmet. I now use a Sena 10S. Great video man. One of my bikes is a 97 VFR750 with the awesome Honda V4
Nice! Didn't know they used the V4 platform for that long. The BT-S2 unit was not bad at all for the price. The unit itself is actually still fine; my cables got shorted out very quickly, though. Using the T-COM device now. No issues so far :)
You did the right move in getting your first motorcycle, my first was a Suzuki gs500f then upgraded to a Yamaha fz6 then let go of that and got the Kawasaki zrx1100 and now I have the honda sabre vf700, my sabre has intake, full megaphone race exhaust and stage 3 jet kit. This vid is way better than other vid with camera on the side of your helmet
you've got one of my dream bikes as your first one :'D where I live old Sabres are very rare. I have been riding for three years, spent most of my time on a puny but lovely Suzuki GS500. If I manage to save up some money I'm going to hunt an old black Honda Sabre just like yours
It's definitely a one-of-a-kind motorcycle. Very hard to find; I got lucky-didn't even know what it was at first. I could only imagine what it's like to ride the 1100cc version
I actually like the clip-on concept. However, I don't like how high up the clip-ons are for me. I have long arms and so it would be nice if I could drop them about 4 inches.
The Bolt is a 950, isn't it? My Sabre is just a 750. Even if the Sabre was a 950, I think the weight would still keep it behind a Bolt off-the-line. However, get the Sabre up into its high-end and the Bolt has no chance there. How do you figure the Sabre has 50% more power?

Love the ride around folsom. I just got a sabre alive on the road again.
My first motorcycle was a 1981 Honda cb750k. I miss that bike it was great.
What is that circular light thing that’s on your left handlebar? The thing just to the right of your turn signal and horn unit.
It's a battery voltage gauge! Briefly mentioned it in my first video, I think
That steering wheel and dash looks freakin awesome. 👍

I have a 1983 Honda Sabre too. The one thing I don't like is the absence of handlebars. How do you like the clip-ons?

@@AgentTekk You can research the specs yourself. Having ridden both, I can tell you that a V45 Sabre will run circles around a Bolt.
@@rogerwhite7719 That's interesting. I never would have imagined
@@AgentTekk Cruisers are typically not as quick as naked or sport bikes.
