The Mobilier National is a French public institution whose mission is to support and promote French art and design. It ensures the creation and conservation of tens of thousands of pieces of furniture and objects intended to equip French public buildings.

In the 2nd video of the series of the Mobilier national, Julia Blain, lissière, presents to us her activity in the tapestry workshop of the Gobelins, and the stages of the creation of monumental tapestries.
The workshop is also a place for the transmission of this exceptional ancient know-how since it welcomes many apprentices, and for contemporary creation, as shown by the tapestry of the 2024 Olympic Games.
