The author Rusty Eric has said, “Your ego is your soul’s worst enemy.” It seems the Devil endeavours to exploit the human ego, an achilles' heel for Christians & non-Christians alike. Therefore whether we feel crushed or we’re experiencing significant worldly success, or even a successful Christian ministry, the Devil has the ability to seek out our weaknesses & to steer us away from God’s will & purpose in our lives, if we allow ourselves to be tempted. As someone from a background of addiction (I’m currently 18 years clean & sober) I feel as though I have Ephesians 6:10-18 etched on my heart. It has served me well along with the other facets of Christianity. Praise Jesus ✝️
