The astral projection during the campaign was because Ashley had to play by Skype from New York while she was filming Blind Spot. The projection failing was also referencing her losing her connection during the stream.

That's the feeling of watching a cleric ANNIHILATE an entire hord of zombies by themselves. Destroy Undead never feels as good as when it works on a massive number of ennemies like this.

I think it shows the difference in Vax and Keyleth’s perspective. Vax is thinking the worst and says his last truth before he believes to die. Keyleth is thinking, “Dude! Now is not the time for this! We’ve got a world to save!” This shows she didn’t give up.

I mean, if the fantasy gods are invested in the events in the fantasy world, why shouldn't they intervene every now and then. And tech-ni-cally this wasn't a proper divine intervention, that has rules: Pike attempted to call down Intervention eight times over the course of their adventure and only had two successes. This was just a Skype call.

This was so good! I loved that they also had Pike not be with the main group for a lot of the season kinda like Ashley being away for filming. Also Grog being so happy to see Pike always warms my heart.

Is it me or do you guy's think they got the same animation company which have animated DCAU flims and Young Justice animated series ?
The animation studio is Titmouse, but the characters were designed by Phil Bourassa who works on DC stuff. So the style of the people might look familiar, but everything else in terms of scenery and animation is distinct.

Because it is, this is an adaption of the first critical role campaign
i'm finished with the first season and I still think I missed a big part, how did Pickle get her powers? She was in the temple and had to choose, friends or power, so what happen back there?
She chose both
She didnt have to choose between friends and powers, she had to choose between following the path of the temple or the path of her friends.
Her problem was she was struggling with her faith and blocking her connection to the Everlight which weakened her Cleric powers. The Everlight helped Pike realise that any path can be holy and Pike's problem was that she didn't feel worthy of being called a holy person as she enjoyed swearing, drinking, fighting and hanging out with her friends, which conflicted with the picture in her head of what an idealised holy person looked like and acted. The Everlight then helped her realise that such an image while true for others, didn't have to be true for Pike and as long as she was being true to herself then that's okay. This solved her problem, re-established her connection to the Everlight and also strengthened her powers.
