I adore there relationship its so wholesome. even in the campaign, it never comes across as forced or acted out, it always seems like they truly where childhood friends. I just love it. ❤❤❤❤
I love that it kinda went on after the campaign with Travis always going nuts when Yasha raged :D
They have a platonic love I just adore.
We all call Travis and Ashley siblings. They have the same thing as Laura and Liam. Even when it’s not Grog and Pike, they are always having those over the table glance conversations and making each other laugh.
Like the big and hard hitting little brother, and the small ferocious and yet caring big sister.

I loved Grog’s origin story. A barbarian that saw eventually saw through his people’s cruel practices, and now has to live with his evil deeds.

This is probably one of the best representations of a familiar platonic relationship that has been depicted narratively.
You forgot the scene where Grog lifts Pike on his shoulders to prevent her from sinking in the cave. Also, the delivery of "Get up there, Pike" is golden!

Context, Pike's player/va Ashley Johnson couldn't make it to some of the sessions but she was able to skype in for a few sessions. This is why Pike in the show just shows up with the Astral projection and why she was missing.

It makes me happy that my wizard and my parties barbarian have taken up the torch of these twos friendship in the game I'm in that is set in Tal'dorei, except the genders are swapped. Funny enough I'm planning on multiclassing my wizard into a cleric in the future.
