Wowzers this looks cool. FPS Shadow of Colossus was my first impression too. Great to see VR pushing forward with this kind of quality. How you weren't falling over in real life during those grappling hook sections is beyond me XD
Great video! An important question - Is the Saints and Sinners hand delay still there? did they made better the weight on objects, or is it the same, and feels laggy? For me, this is very important. When you want to remove a sword from an enemy's head, is it laggy? I love how this game looks :)
My main thing is the combat, I love VR games with storylines as I'm getting very tired of sandbox engine showcases, but if the combat feels wonky I'll get very tired of it fast. If the combat feels like blade and sorcery I'm sold on this game and will be purchasing it.
@@RhysDaKingVR Hello, is this game through glasses? or do you need a PC? since I have a 3050 and an i3 12100f, I think it won't pull, but I want to play this game
@RhysDaKingVR same If there's a specific quest 3 version I'd rather get it native. But if it's just one version between all quest headsets, then I'll probs just do the pcvr version via steam link.
I see the 12 hour campaign as both a blessing and a curse. If that is what the developers feel is necessary to tell their story I completely understand. However, that combat is something that I would love to spend 100+ hours with as I did with AW2 and S&S. I hope to see some kind of arena sandbox mode where we can use the world stages as playgrounds for cool endless physics combat. Edit: Maybe I should finish videos before commenting on them ;) exciting to see there WILL be a sandbox mode! That by itself makes it a must buy for anyone who likes something like Blade and Sorcery or Hellsplit Arena.
I will say about the play time... Personally, I do feel like the developers were right on the mark with a game that is supposed to be 40+ hours are usually games that never get completed by the majority. I mean I totally started up Asgaurds Wrath 2 when it launched for my Quest 3... and I definitely think it is a high quality game, especially for a VR game. I very much appreciate getting a much more full experience from a game on VR and think it would be preferable if they had many more experiences to its scale. BUT, I am certainly turned off a bit at the knowledge of the game being as long as it is. I am drawing a blank now, but I feel like I heard that it was around 40-60 hours long or something. Knowing that it is that long, I have not let myself get fully immersed in the game. Which is funny since I DO want more full featured experiences in VR... But personally, I guess I just have really not been as excited about VR as I once was. I have to move the couch and tables to create a nice size space to play games... and I just have not been compelled to do all that when I am in the mood to game (over just picking up my PS5 or Series X controller and hitting the Xbox button to turn it on). N honestly I did the same thing with Assassins Creed VR... I couldnt wait for the game to come out and got it as soon as it did. But for the first time ever for me personally, I got motion sickness from the game. And WOW... Now I get why people can get so turned off to VR when experiencing that. It really sucked, and lasted a lot longer than I expected. LoL Well I said ALL OF THAT to say this... Having Behemoths be a 12 ish hour game is most definitely a positive for me. Not only do games almost always take me longer to beat than what the average person online says (usually from being a completionist and getting way too into looking for everything possible to accomplish in a game)... I would really enjoy it if Behemoth did have a New Game Plus mode. I truly hope the developers decide to put that feature in to increase the play time for everyone.
And being linear now I have nothing against linear I love metro but felt the third open world one was the weakest link in the chain but at the same time replayability is greatly affected when a game is not Open world simply because it's allot harder to make me want to replay a game that I know will be the same each time also open world is a major part of added gameplay that you don't get in a linear experience I do understand a Great linear experience can be better than most open world experience but it's rare to find a good one these days also
@@AartSnikkelbaard03 yeah the frame drops might be because of the recording but the graphics I expected a lot better, blade and sorcery basically has the same graphics on Quest

The main positive of people trying it before it’s out to the public is that we can help them make changes to the game so it is better when it comes out to the public plus marketing
Just Wow! This game is badass 😀 Cant wait to play it. Thx for the great impression!
No problem glad I can share stuff like this wi the the community

Haha it’s actually really comfortable 😂 and spot on it is the closest thing to shadow of colossus 🔥
This is what we want, good quality games. Thank you Skydance, you have my money!
Can't wait to play this on my PSVR2! 🔥
um soo geting this game the moment it come out , Great and informative

I’m really worried about the graphics on the quest 3. I want this game sooooooooooo bad, but I don’t know how good it’s going to look

I hope it looks as good on the Q3 as their S&S Q3 optimization.
Any word on that?
No idea on the Quest build right now but I have a feeling they will put in the effort to make it as good as the other platforms 🙌
That's good. Thanks for the reply.

@RhysDaKingVR yes! For me, it's this, Batman arkham Shadow and Alien Rogue Inclusion. It's a great year for VR.
Yup looks awesome ❤
This will be the best version of the game on psvr2
I think so with the controllers on PSVR 2
@@RhysDaKingVR And the head haptics, facing that Behemoth is going to feel amazing.
Probably, i'll be getting it for that system!
Will there be a version specifically for Quest 3?

Does the PSvr2 version include headset rumble, controller haptic feedback, and adaptive triggers?
And is it sitting, standing and room scale play styles?
Also, does it have voice immersion where you can get the characters in the game attention with your voice like Saints And Sinners
how does it compare to blade and sorcery 1.0?

12 hrs is a extremely hard sell definitely with no mod support

Does anyone know if physical release gets pre order bonus like digital in ps store?
Yes give me soc!
I'm very excited for it but the psbr version looks like a quest game cuz there's no Shadows and it looks like there's frame drops
Frame drops might be due to the recording as well. But yeah seems there's only blob shadows. No actual dynamic shadows.

Is there jumping
A smaller game is never better more content is always better i hope they have a survival or rouge mode cuz I can’t replay stories its not fun
11-12 hours is longer than half-life Alex so should be plenty. They also have other modes
why can't I wishlist this on steam?
It should be an option soon.
It is now an option
A bit dissapointed in its shortness. I guess I was hoping for more. I'm sure it will be amazing.
I think they have made the right choice on 12 hours it’s about the right amount of time for a game like this to keep you locked in

No
I absolutely disagree with it only being 12 hours long The be a triple-a game. It should be at least 60 hours. Especially if it's up around $50.
