I'm looking to replace stock rims with 18" wheels and fresh performance tires, I read a comment below that stated coil-overs for larger rims, lowering springs for stock. I'd prefer the LS over coil-overs and wonder if I want that 1 inch drop on the 18" wheels to close the gap between tire top and fender do I want a more aggressive drop with springs to get that roughly 1" drop? Wouldn't the extra inch from the hub of the 18" to the fender fill much of that "drop" I'm looking for?
