I am not a professional anything, but I have never heard of anyone else taking that vocal quality up passed the flip point of chest and head voice. I have heard her sing several times before and always at that point she had to abandon that vocal style and sing in a conventional voice. If I am wrong please tell me. I have heard the Tuvan Throat Singers but they all stay down below that point where your voice must flip to the head voice. If you can point me in a direction where others may do what she is doing now I'd be grateful. The only word I can think of is EPIC. I have to say I am moved to tears with this performance. I was not a big fan but her new ability to take this vocal quality everywhere has rendered any argument moot. She is now an artist to me and deserves all the accolades that she is getting. I see this song playing over a movie climax of a global cataclysm or a global war. This arrangement is brilliant. And only a voice like Diana's could pull it off. For me, it is not her low voice but the fact that she seems to generate a low tone and a simultaneous higher, coloring tone at the same time. It makes the sound so full and rich. Is that a real thing or is it just my older ears?
This is called polyphonic singing. And yes, she does. Usually there are 2 higher notes. One is full octave, which gives more power and richness. Anothet is mid-octave, very decent but enough to give the mysterious touch. Even more fascinating she can switch the polyphonic part on and off, which gives me goosebumps every time. A very good explanation was given on the channel of "Miss Saiko", who is proud that Diana made friends with her - at least on instagram. Saiko is very special.

Well they will always use Delay on these shows, but yeah she's polyphonic naturally, which is enhanced live on the mixing board, but not entirely necessary to do. She's so amazing and her new vocal coach has really helped her expand her range again and access whatever she wants to do at any time, I am so excited for her next performances! [Crow might melt your mind, Ken! gotta react to it asap, please?]

The competition is still going and the rules are very unusual and different here is short summary: NTV channel announces the launch of a new original music show "Show-mask-go-on". Except that her mother abandoned her on a bus bench with a broken collar bone when Diana was a young child. She couldn’t even speak because of all the abuse she had suffered at the hands of her mother. A woman took her in and encouraged her to sing so she would start talking.

Can you imagine being one of the other judge competitors on this show. The teenager comes on last in the first round of her first adult show competition. And this is her opening salvo🔥🔥😂 Everybody else is feeling ok then the teenage Diana comes in and does this, possibly around midnight after a day of filming. Thoughts ..... 😳 ..... Its going to be Oh crap 🤣😂 0r Stunned silence..... the guest judge - the bearded opera singer married to a top Russian soprano said he'd never felt anything like it. Dianas had to be pretty much self motivating and funding in her concerts outside state TV shows. So its nice to see her get proffesional stage production ... they have been extensively using a non green screen enhanced VR system in this show and its been striking to even at times a bit OTT.. a bit like the dancers and yes its drawn Russian comments as well. Meantime the girl has been doing quite well overall and has pulled a few good and brilliant interpretations out of the hat.. they are allocated song's to perform so it pushes everyone out of their normal choices. The song Crow is totally different dark techno pop/gothic? but totally Diana and despite being last on again she pulled off a possibly wicked game/rechenka level performance. Shes also just finished her first full album.

There are 9 contestants who are also the judges. Each judge scores each contestant from a 2 to a 9. Top score is a 72. Diana had 8 nines, one eight, and a 1 from the guest judge who gave each singer a 1 out of respect. Diana scored a 72. Not bad for her first performance.

She's so amazing and her new vocal coach has really helped her expand her range again and access whatever she wants to do at any time, I am so excited for her next performances! Thank you very much for appreciating Diana's talent. Diana takes part in an adult show for the first time, where there are 8 other vocalists (except Diana). Of course, Diana is the decoration of this show. It should be noted that all participants have wonderfully staged mini-performances using VR technologies. Twist in my sobriety was too easy for her, but the other songs. One highlight after snother snd Crow is outstanding on Rechenka level.

The competition is still going and the rules are very unusual and different here is short summary:
NTV channel announces the launch of a new original music show "Show-mask-go-on". The heroes of the project are the favorite participants of popular NTV projects: "Mask", "You are super!" and "Superstar" who have won more than once and proven that they are the best.
The nine participants will also be the judges of the show.
The special feature of the new NTV show is that the jury will not be as such, the participants themselves will comment and assess the performance of the participants. At the end of each song, they have to give each other a grade on a scale of 2 to 9 points, while they cannot give the same score twice and vote on their own performance.
There will also be a guest star in each episode, who has the right to vote, while she/he will not be a full participant in the show.
In each episode, the contestants are offered 9 topics: one plays an anthem, for example, the second - a Song by a Grammy winner, the third - a rock hit, and so on. The winner shall be determined by the result of the vote. After the vote in the 9th program, the winner of the season is determined by the points total.
On stage of the project will be the winner of as well the second season as of the super season of the show " You are super!": Diana Ankudinova!!!

Tommee Profitt did a version featuring artist: brooke. Released in 2019 he put it in minor key and this is based on that. Diana of course took it to the stratosphere, but listen to the Tommee Profitt version (Producer, Songwriter). I love this version and Diana. 😎

Dianas had to be pretty much self motivating and funding in her concerts outside state TV shows.
So its nice to see her get proffesional stage production ... they have been extensively using a non green screen enhanced VR system in this show and its been striking to even at times a bit OTT.. a bit like the dancers and yes its drawn Russian comments as well.
Meantime the girl has been doing quite well overall and has pulled a few good and brilliant interpretations out of the hat.. they are allocated song's to perform so it pushes everyone out of their normal choices.
The song Crow is totally different dark techno pop/gothic? but totally Diana and despite being last on again she pulled off a possibly wicked game/rechenka level performance.
Shes also just finished her first full album.
Original arrangement by Tommee Profitt, Diana sang the beginning lower than original while blowing up the final section with her vocals. The original final section was only instrumental.
There are 9 contestants who are also the judges. Each judge scores each contestant from a 2 to a 9. Top score is a 72. Diana had 8 nines, one eight, and a 1 from the guest judge who gave each singer a 1 out of respect. Diana scored a 72. Not bad for her first performance.
