A couple of corrections and additions: First, the Marshals are NOT armed while in flight, all firearms are stored in the baggage holds and the Marshals arm themselves before allowing any inmates to exit the craft. Second, the flights are not segregated by sex or by affiliation, females (or trans) are seated in the front and males in the rear, with seats filled back to front. Gang rivals are separated only by seat distance (unless someone is heading to SuperMax (ADX) for gang-related offenses, which would usually mean a dedicated flight). Third, some JPATS planes are 737's, but a few are MD-80's. ALL are piloted by US Navy personnel. I know this because I have made five total JPATS flights, as a passenger.
Welcome onboard JPATS Flight 1786, flight time will be roughly 2 hours, 15 minutes, and flight will be landing at Fremont County Airport, where you'll get an exclusive ride to a fun destination! On behalf of the entire crew, relax and enjoy your flight.

They are cheap, common, and just about every single law enforcement agency in the US, along with almost every civilian gun owner uses them. You can buy them at any store that sells ammo.
The company I worked for used to fly JPATS for the government in Puerto Rico, St Thomas and St Croix... and often flying prisoners to Miami whenever courthouses where not available in San Juan.
I did some Federal Time in the 1990's, and during my various trial and conviction stages was transferred around on a plane that was some sort of 707 or 727 with "Florida Marlins" markings on it. I guess the Feds confiscated the team plane at some point in time and put it into undercover use. The pilot I saw a few times had some sort of club foot. The plane would always lose lots of altitude suddenly for no reason and then fly back up. Or, it was just a very ruff ride with constant turbulence. Not something you appreciate when you are handcuffed and shackled. The U.S. Marshalls were always pretty nice though.
I have a semi-personal experience with the real life "Con Air"! I have a close family member that's rode it and he was far more scared of that flight than going to federal prison 🤷🏻♀️🤣 p.s. if you didn't already know how fucked up the American justice system is, he was charged and convicted of a non violent MISDEMEANOR conspiracy charge, sentenced to 6 months in a federal prison camp and 1 year of probation. They flew him across the country to a federal prison for 6 months when their was literally a federal prison less than 3 hours from his home...that was also a federal prison camp.

Here's a fun fact. Hollow points are not some special, super high tech mega killing thing reserved for "operators". They are cheap, common, and just about every single law enforcement agency in the US, along with almost every civilian gun owner uses them. You can buy them at any store that sells ammo.
Can't be too many aviation topics left on the HIA list
Sam: hold my aircraft model ✈️
The company I worked for used to fly JPATS for the government in Puerto Rico, St Thomas and St Croix... and often flying prisoners to Miami whenever courthouses where not available in San Juan.
Lmao Emirates first class? This is the real deal for luxury.
HAI doesn't pay for Flightradar24?
Justice Prisoner and ALIEN Transportation system????
Conspiracy to do WHAT?
We have a familiar airline like this in Europe. It's called Ryanair
