    its great to see that people are keeping Bataireacht alive. It seems to be dying out in Ireland

    "Speak softly and carry a big stick." Teddy Roosevelt. It's amazing how badly you could split some skulls with a weapon made of paracord and polymer. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that thing.Great tutorial and demonstration brother!

    Bad assed! I love my canes. I never walk at night without them! I've had the kevlar cord one you made me in the back seat of my car for over a year and it's been baked at 120 degrees and frozen at minus 5 and looks brand new and still flexes and kicks like a mule!

    Thanks brother, great video. I subbed before this vid was halfway through. Good to see someone who doesn't just like to hear themselves talk, and I hope you didn't mess that cane up too much.
    I have recently been needing a cane to get around, as my knees are blown out completely, and the cane made me feel weak and self conscious. Now I can feel good and well armed, like I did 20 or 30 years ago when I knew no fear.
    Where can I get one of those canes?
    Thanks again!!!!

    Great vid sir. I learned a little filipino stick fighting during the course of my life, the techniques are different..but the weight of the sticks are different than those you are demonstrating with. Nice form with that protective hand and arm up to guard your head. Would you happen to have any Krav training??

    • @primalpunch
      @primalpunch  5 лет назад

      Thank you, friend. No, no Krav Maga, but I have wanted to train Krav Maga for years. I understand it is brutally efficient, and that appeals to me. The "no frills" approach to martial arts.

    if we're talking irish weapons i keep a 5lb miners pick behind my door. one side with a sharpened adz and the other a dull point... about the size of an axe. any tips for fighting with an axe or pick? how a true irishman would have brawled back in the day i think at the factories and mills and shipyards and mines

    LOL is that darn long club (cane) less conspicuous? If I had a clear leg injury I might not get arrested for something like that, but where I live that would most likely be judged as a weapon. I use a ordinary walking cane out of hard wood with a hook on it, no one seem to make any drama about it. The strike you employ look very good for a club like that tho.

      Primal Punch My only concerns are that white canes are hollow and lightweight and mine are almost my height. Maybe the best I could try for is a whip across the face. Ive only hit something once with a folding cane and it hit solid before the sections collapsed and ricocheted into my arm. :)

    • @primalpunch
      @primalpunch  7 лет назад +1

      Ahhh. Yeah, a sectional cane would not be ideal for power strikes I guess the ideal sectional cane for self defense would have the larger/upper section be more heavy duty and detachable from the two lower sections so that, in a bad situation, you could click a button or twist a collar, and have a solid 24 inch fighting stick or cudgel, and a longer whippy piece with the two lower sections.

    Jesus was born to a virgin, turned water to wine, taught, healed the sick, raised the dead, casted out demons, walked on water, and calmed the storm, among many other things. He was killed, and three days later He rose from the dead. Forty days later He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He is returning very soon, but before He does, Satan, the devil, is coming to pretend to be Jesus. Satan is an angel, and he will have certain supernatural powers with which to try to fool everyone. He will, for example, be able to make fire come down from heaven in the sight of men. He will only be on earth a short time before the real King of Kings, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, returns. When the real Jesus comes we will all be transformed into our spiritual bodies at the same moment. Jesus came to offer forgiveness of sins and eternal life to anyone who believes and calls on His precious name.
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; - Romans 3:23
    For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23
    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. - John 3:16-18
    Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. - Matthew 26:6-13
    The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. - Proverbs 10:22
