- Trying out the 10x35 inch Bigfoot sluice box with the vortex dreammat sluice Box. I really enjoyed running this sluice with nothing but a shovel. I classified nothing on this day. Your point about running in low flow is the reason why I bought the 8 inch bigfoot sluice. I can run it in most places, and have a 6 inch sluice for the really dry times. Looking forward to your videos running the other mats. I personally like the micro mat as a good all around solution, on the creek or during clean ups.

I live in Oregon we find a lot of tiny flood gold in our creeks. I bought a Mini Dream Mat sluice for about $45 that beat my larger sluice at fine gold recovery. The Dream Mat is by far my favorite.

I have the 8 inch bigfoot with the mini mat not the micro. I love it. I actually cut 6 inches off the whole sluice to make it easier to set up with less drop. Love it best sluice in the world. Great job on showing this. Awsome video btother.. holy smokes there was a lot of lead there. Some nice gold too

It is much like the Bazooka Miner.
The other Problem I have with that Sluice is that the Hydraulic Jets made to keep the Trap from hard packing with Garnets isn't powerful enough with just the pressure from the dammed up water.
I watched the bazooka In action but I’m more confident in the dream mat product. This thing holds onto the gold.
@@InternalCompassofNC Yeah, this thing looks dope! I'm definitely gonna pick one at for my next Sluice Box. I got an Underflow which works wonderfully with capturing Particle Gold, but is so small, that it is best for Cleanup.

What do you use for your edge trim? Looks so much nicer on the hands
1/16-1-18 u channel edge trim. You can find it on Amazon by searching edge trim for metal.
I’d like to learn how to do this but it seems like a lot of work for a couple dollars of gold.

What angles are acceptable in the creek.
They say 9 degrees but there’s other variables such as water flow/pressure. Less flow = steeper pitch. More flow = less pitch. I hope that helps
