I had a taxi lap 10 years ago on the nordschleife. Either you film it with ure smartphone and ull get sick and miss that feeling. It will look like watching your round like on tv, or you’ll forget about your smartphone and enjoy the lap
@@Instarentner I think the best is obviously mounting a GoPro to the wind-shield and letting it roll for the entire lap, no need to focus on framing and stabilisation, and you get to enjoy the lap - as Misha said in the pinned comment's reply, he had FOUR GO PROS recording and still the passenger wanted to film vertical shaky video on an iPhone

Compared to Astra OPC yesterday this is far more manageable BUT the Astra passenger was so into the lap and that’s sometimes more enjoyable than the actual lap. Sadly this guy I think just fell asleep with his eyes open, I get not everyone is chatty but wow… it’s a once in a lifetime experience for some to have Misha drive you. Engage a bit!

Even as it seems the passenger didn't enjoyed the lap because of the phone and the silence it is possible to see in his face that he really liked the experience. Everyonehas it own way of ejoynd yourself, his was a little bit of silence.

Didnt know these can go to 400bhp on stock turbo and injectors. That seems like massive headroom for a 290bhp engine. The downpipe looks aftermarket ?.

Although we dont get the Cupra in the US it shares same engine as the Golf R. They are powerhouse little engines that can handle a lot of additional power on the stock block. I know longer have it but my mk7 Golf R was at about 415whp with downpipe and tune on ethanol blend (E30) with stock fueling and turbo. Once I upgraded to a hybrid turbo and added multi port injection it was 520whp on E85. Loads of people here in the states running that sort of setup very reliably for many miles
@@pushdaenvelope In europe the Merc A45 is the king of the 2.0 turbo cars with the current ones having 425bhp from the factory. The most powerful production 4cyl in the world.

To all those complaining about people using their phones to film their laps.. Guess we're gonna ignore that Misha filmed on his phone during his lap in the Bugatti around the Nurb... It's this kids car, he can do whatever he wants. He would have to wait months to see this footage, why can't he show his friends straight away... Typical Misha passing blame and agreeing with complaining comments about people who have been generous enough to lend their car for Misha to make content and $$$
That's just pure disrespect being on the phone the whole time. You're in "near death" situation, put it down and enjoy the ride. The kid might've paid for it, but they basically made this experience far worse for themselves and everyone watching.
