I think I would have told the Jeep owner.... 'if the landrover hooks up to it, I'm unhooking and you're on your own'....

I bet the dudes with the tattoos didn't stop talking the whole time. You're an awesome dude man. I know how difficult it is to deal with people who claim to know what they are talking about and are absolutely clueless. Great work

That was a lot of mud in front of that jeep. Good recovery, even with the unwanted extra help. Thank you guys for filming.

Basically quick sand, if they get stuck and call us right away they are easy to get out, the problem is they sit there for several hour while people tug on them, each tug they move zero forward and 1” inch down
When they completely screwed then they call us

Once you break the suction it will become a lot easier to recover!
You should build a a small jib crane for your bumper to get extra lift!

Ya got some patience. People don't realize the hazards involved and should just stay the heck back. I'm sure Land Rover guy believes you wouldn't have got the jeep out without him. Nice extraction.

I sure understand what your saying about the help. Sometimes you just have to get out of the way and let them try when they in that condition. Otherwise let the customer handle who is doing the retrieving. Glad to see everyone was safe and recovery done. Good job.

It never fails to amaze me how many untrained people will get themselves in a position where, if a rope/cable/snatch-block fails, they'll be seriously hurt. I imagine they've never seen someone cut in half by wire rope when something fails and you're in the danger zone. I never see you standing where you'll get hurt.

Man I feel for you on the dude wanting to help but it would suck to get someone hurt or damage someone's property just because the other person doesn't understand. Was doing some road side assistance job when the customer who rounded the lug nuts on the car comes over and starts grabbing my tools out and bring them over. Tools that were very costly and I wasn't going to be using for the job. I had to stop him and say I'll do this job but I don't need your help or I'm leaving right now.

The Landrover guy just embarrassed the rest of us that drive landrovers, just let the pros do what they do,, watch and learn and if you want to help, man up grab a shovel and get dirty, I noticed the owner of the jeep just jumped right in and got muddy....NOT? Shameful, you come out to helpo them and they do nothing to help with the digging

This is a tough one. You have to balance out being nice, being professional, handling danger and recovery while telling people to buzz off too. People distracting you and stepping over loaded line that is keeping jeep from rolling over. That's a tough dirty job right there.

Number of lines on the travelling block you would have twice the pulling power.

If you listen to the very beginning the wife said “because we got too much help”
These guys basically bullied their way into doing a recovery, and the jeep owner being an older calm person didn’t want any conflicts

It wouldn’t have, I’m familiar with this hole. And with them being stuck for 4-5 hours before calling us the sand has packed around it from all sides.
We did a Land Rover exact same spot last week and pulled that one out the other way and was equally difficult

@@johndeere8594 and to help understand this hole, it’s beach sand all the way around. And then this hole is full of clay.
They fall in the hole and it’s not that deep but deep enough where they get stuck
People will continue to tug repeatedly and with every tug they will sink deeper and deeper without comeing out
And it’s a straight up wall on both sides so they always need dragged to the end he and then a lift out

You should tone your ego down a little...you were doing the same thing ! Recovery only takes the right equipment and some common sense...you are a know it all yourself! You should have pulled this particular rig back wards...
You were trying to show off..you were pushing heavy mud you didn't have too...at first you were set too far away...you wouldn't in this particular case have had the extra load and the extra lift to contend with from the rear and solid ground to work with from the rear! I like your videos but you ain't all that either!😉🤔🫡🇺🇲
