Let me drop this and I render no apology.
    1. That all over the world Nigerians are setting the pace and becoming the standard by which others measure themselves in many spheres of life?
    2. That in the US, Nigerians are the most educated immigrant community. Google it and you’ll see it. Not one of the most educated the most educated?
    3. That 60% of Nigerians in the US have college degrees. This is far above the American national average of 30%.
    4. That Nigerians in US are one of the highest earners, typically earning 25% more than the median US income of $53k.
    5. That In Ivy League schools in Europe and America, Nigerians routinely out perform their peers from other nations.
    6. That a Nigerian family ‘The Imafidons’, is the smartest family in Britain, they gave no excuses in educating their five children, who have broken national records in education. The family, have officially been named the smartest family in the UK.
7.The designer of the famous car Chevrolet Volt is Jelani Aliju a super talented Nigerian from Sokoto state.
8.The world’s fastest super computer was designed by a world renowned inventor and scientist Philip Emeagwali, a full blown Nigerian whose patency was awarded in 2015.
9.The wealthiest black man and woman on earth are Nigerians Aliko Dangote and Mrs Folorunsho Alakija. Both have no trace of criminal record of any kind.
10.South Africa couldn’t have ended apartheid and achieved black rule if not for the leadership role Nigeria played.
11 Of the 3 South African presidents who ruled after apartheid, 2 of them once lived in Nigeria under asylum. Both Nelson Mandela (in the 60s) and Thabo Mbeki ( in the 70s) lived in Nigeria before becoming President of South Africa . Nigeria gave financial and human support , boycotted an Olympics and Nigerian politicians, musicians and activists campaigned relentlessly.
12.Nigeria spent over $3billion and lost hundreds of soldiers to end the wars in both Liberia and Sierra Leone, which were ignored for a considerable period by the west. However it must be said that after about a decade of carnage and instability the UK under Tony Blair intervened. For which Sierra Leone and Liberia are extremely grateful to all who helped end the bloodshed.
13.Nigeria restored elected Sao Tome and Principe President after a coup in 2003. Organised by God knows who.
    14. Before there were street lights in European cities, ancient Benin kingdom has street lights fueled by palm oil. Present day Nigeria
15.500 years ago Benin kingdom casted metal alloys to create magnificent art including the world famous Queen Ida mask.
Nigeria gave monetary gifts to Ireland during the oil boom and built a statue for France free of charge. Nigerians are not poor blacks. Nigeria is rich don’t be lied to.
The first television station in Africa was NTA Ibadan (1960) same time as Ireland and their RTE station.
On the 7th May 2016 at Howard university in Washington DC, history was made . Out of the 96 graduating Doctors of Pharmacy, 43 of them were Nigerians and out of 27 awards given 16 went to Nigerians .
    AND FINALLY!!!!!!!!
There are over 180 million Nigerians world over and less than 250k of this figure have traceable criminal records.

My friend Ethiopia is second largest in Africa with a margin of 80,000 so why are they not also. Now lemme even ask u this a woman who gave birth to 8 or 12 children as the case usually is/was in Africa is that a guarantee that family will come out top than those with 1 or 3 children! My friend make good use of your brain pls, there's no place i repeat no where is it written that one person has the monopoly to succeed, pls say something else! Coming from a ghanaian i'm not surprised though, what never cease 2 amaze is the amount of hate among blacks/Africans. I guess we should also conclude from this dumb statement that due 2 the population Nigeria engages in scam more than any other country! So why the heck are other populous countries of the world not labelled criminals base on this ridiculous conclusion or are they just saints? Personally and culturally I have passion for South African culture and play video from Thakozani Langa and other artist a lot just because of the sincerity, naturality etc. involved. In fact the film Shaka Zulu is a treasure to me just for the wisdom he tackled the white imperialists and maintained the integrity of the culture. Nigeria is the most populous most educated Country in Africa, 37 states!!! It is the biggest economy in Africa!! Crime comes with size; there are criminals in every country. Most Africa countries are just like one state of Nigeria so stop comparing Nigeria to these small countries. I'm a Ghanaian and Nigeria is almost 8 times the population of Ghana but we always compare ourselves to them. Their economy and population is different so the people have to be more Assertive and proactive to survive , hence they take advantage of opportunities.

Saying that Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa is true but it is also an unfair comparison. Nigeria may have a larger GDP but this is a result of the fact that their population is almost 4x that of SA. SA has a much larger GDP per capita than Nigeria and its economy is also much more diversified and industrialized.
Nigeria's economy may be larger but SA's is definitely much more developed which means SA has a richer populace. In my opinion that makes the South African economy superior.

9:28 👏👏👏👏 so true! Xenophobia has NO place in Africa. As a Sudanese I remember when not too long ago there was an influx of Ethiopians, doing menial jobs and I would find an array of people (strangers and family members alike) detest that. I’m like ARE YOU out here trying to be the person who serves tea and someone is stopping you???!!!
It was a nauseating experience. Now look at where Ethiopia is and is headed and look at Sudan! I love my people but urgh it’s just so sad that we were once so arrogant and that we lost our sense of hospitality and “there’s enough for everyone” type of mentality. Africans don’t need racism nor unsupported stereotypes.

For those complaining about Nigerians taking their jobs, my sister did her IT in a biscuit manufacturing company in lagos, she was in production department, there this this colleague she worked with, a yoruba guy Dayo by name, Dayo was a graduate already maybe did not pass out of the university with a good result but he's good at repairing and building stuff, yet he was given to least post in the company mechanical department, then the chinese are hired to run things in the same mechanical department, even though they don't know shit, when any of the machines broke down Dayo is the one to repair them while the chinese experts do nothing and he is 💯 better than this chinese experts yet he earns way below what they earn in a week, now did Dayo go about crying like a little baby? Nope did he go about killing the so called chinese experts? No, what did Dayo do? He proved to the company that he is 10x better than the chinese and the company sees it got rid of the chinese made Dayo the head of mechanical department, now that's the difference between Nigerians and other African countries, we don't fold our hands and wait for the government, I see what I like I take it even if it's in the mouth of a lion, lol and if i can't take it because of the lion's tooth, then I bring my dentist along but I must get what I want from the lion's mouth, that scary teeth ain't stopping me.

  • @dejiakinbode5715

I am Nigerian and sorry to say it we have a terrible reputation. Yes we want to excel anywhere and everywhere we go, but we do it at all cost either good or bad and that itself says a lot. We break laws and don't always do the right thing in search of money (we basically worship money). Globalization is not working and countries around the world are shutting down their borders. The citizens of each country should always come first and that is their right. Trump literally built a border to stop immigrants (immigrate kids in America are literally locked up in cages and waiting to be deported) and UK left the European Union. Human labor and man power is in the decline and technology is on the rise.
When South Africans and other nations see that they cant provide jobs for their citizens and the citizens feels like they cant find a job they will surely revolt. If we Nigerians are so great and super intelligent, why cant we develop our country.

Babangida caused the weak currency, ask him if Nigeria is better today than 1986 when N1.00 = $1.67

Guy, out of 200mil people, 130mil are rich (or richer). We have 80 mil poor population and that's because of unemployment (these people don't live on the street). Show us Source where the stated "most" people are in poverty. Until then, using "most" without justifying that statement just shows how lacking and ignorant you are. Don't be deceived. We have more rich people than in SA (population wise). It is true Nigeria isn't better like you stated but don't let your little experience blow everything out of proportion.

Blacks discriminating against blacks. When you leave Africa, you understand that a white man does not know whether you are from South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana etc. All he knows is that you are black. Why can't we do away with bitterness within Africa and embress our unique colour. One love Africa, one love South Africa, one love Nigeria. That's all we need

The guy who said Nigeria is the most developed country in Africa while living in the most developed country in Africa , South Africa, is clueless. The levels of development between Nigeria and South Africa are day and night. Night being Nigeria 🤪

This is the most educated show that I have yet watched regarding the debate on the perception of Nigerians. It exposes the lack of circumspect on the negative narrative that plagues Nigerians the world over. It's sad, but thanks guys for fostering a balanced narrative.
