    I think this game was a perfect example of "efficiency can beat eco"
    Even at the very end, the blue team had 2x energy eco and had produced 34% more metal throughout the game, but we (the red team) were able to take more efficient fights overall (me defending my base against blue's assault while Orange plinked away green's forces and base into nothingness with the Sheldon). Eco is very important don't get me wrong, but you can really clutch out some wins and get back into a game with good micro/efficient fights. Well played to everyone!

      Yeah. I'd say the way to have swung this in their favor would have been for Green to handle eco and have the other two focus on fighting. Red team consistently got a lot more value out of their units, though Blue's air raid could have been much bigger if it'd been held off on for a bit to hit bomber critical mass to get Red's fusion reactor. Heck, Orange's little shelldon ball essentially kept control of the right side of the map from the time it came out to the end.

    If you look carefully at 14:58 I (red) targeted the jammer (I had the radar sign because I saw it being built) because I knew his comm was somewhere there... but I didn't have vision or radar sign on the second jammer. And his commander was cloaked right on the edge of the jammer range... so goodbye all my mausers (could have won the game with those, I was way ahead on T2)
    However, at 28:50 I got my revenge on his game-winning play with my own D-gun shenanigans :D We laughed about it in post-game lobby that I had to get my revenge after his play hahaha

      Technically not the first but certainly the main. Lorgar certainly fell before Horus and arguably Magnus was first but it was just a naive pact with Chaos not a knowing betrayal like the Word Bearers.

    I do my autohotkeys similarly but with three main groups. 3,4,5 are: 'diving units' - Ticks, grunts, fiends, demons; 'Line units' - Thugs, brutes, tigers, sumos, shiva; and 'arty units' - rockos, whistlers, wolverine, sheldon, banishers, radar and jammers, AA support, catapults.
    Then 1 is scouts, 2 is rez bots/subs. And the rest catch the random special units I might need to find and micro, bedbugs, emp bots, transports, commandos.
    Apparently there is a way to have like 10 'profiles' of autokeys. So you could have a naval whole set of 10 and then air position set of 10 groups as well.

    On Twin Guard, the bottom head only has 400 range, not "normal" 435 LLT range.

    that was a fantastic match, just a note from early on though. instead of clicking a single unit to target use the Y key to prioritize enemies. So if say a commander is hiding behind a bunch of grunts, Y key on the commander and when he gets close your units all swap targets to him. This is probably the easiest micro trick to ensure big boys get stomped.

      You can also set it up in Settings to make it a default for right-clicking a enemy unit to prioritize it, instead of forcing units to immediately attack it. It helps a lot in managing damage output, as long as you get used to the fact that units will no longer change their movement order if you RMB something.

      Ohh I always forget about that. Yes that's absolutely correct. To add onto that there's a setting you can change to swap the default from attack to set target, the command bound to y. I find it works great because it's ultimately the same thing except it allows units to be movement microed and attack mircoed independently

    In regards to micro tips, you mentioned when dancing back and forth with your units is to target fire specific units. Is that manually sitting there and selecting with your cursor each unit you want to target with each dance forward, or are you using set target and some sort of shift command?

      There is a Set Target command that tells a unit to prioritize a certain target if its in range. There's also an option where you can make this the default behavior of Right Clicking an enemy (which I prefer). So you can set target or even a target priority list by shift right clicking - then you focus on just micro the movement which is often more important. Otherwise the default behavior of Right Click Attack is to target a unit and move towards that unit. After switching to Set Target as default, you can still access that regular attack by using the A key for when you need it (only useful time i find is for ticks/recon to pursue other recons)
