how much I wish I would have seen any of his concerts in the 70‘s and 80‘s, they were just amazing! But he is still the best today and I cannot wait for his tour to resume 😍🤩
Musically, this Elton was on another planet. This was his soul phase in the late 80's just before rehab. I think if Elton was sober by the time Reg Strikes Back leading to Songs From The Past, no question this would be the apex of his powers when playing Live.
Although I enjoy singer-songwriter Nigel Olsson on the drums and backing vocals with Elton John, I absolutely love seeing Jonathan Moffett playing for him.
Better than the recorded version, I find pretty much all the recorded songs have too slow tempo especially this one. He stopped doing falsetto so much in his 80's songs so those aren't affected by the vocal surgery. But I like all of his voices from all the eras. Each one has it's own quirk.
I'd rather have more 70s concerts. Never liked his 80s gigs with his voice shot. I know there's much more material than 'Edinburgh 1976', which alone deserves a Blu Ray/CDs release.
He knows where the roots are, he knows where the soul is, he knows where the beat is.
Preach, man, preach.
Elton John's songs always say so much!
Perfectly Said!
@Lady Elton22 Never forget!
Mitico Elton...❤

I’m older enough! I was there and it was wonderful
Saw him at dodgers stadium for the last time. His very last US concert, no way was I going to miss it.

November 20th. Last of the three shows he did there.
He rocked this song. He is the man.
They don't come this size anymore...true legend
This was 2 years after I was born. I was just a baby at the time. These songs are always good to come back and listen too.
I put Elton John in the catagory of a "music icon".
One of my favorite late Elton songs
@user-jm7sp8co4s I'd even say anything after 2004 is a late song
@@gaminglegend i'd say anything after 2014 is a late song :)
Yeah but the 1970s was his prime and past 1990 he didn’t really do many good songs tbh
2024...What a SAD time is nowadays when u watch this.
World finally lost its vibe.
Elton John is the best y'all. I love his music, very tranquil and so uplifting, i dunno what id do without him. ❤

True legend, he served a queen, a king and a knight!
Onde comprar este show em cd ou dvd
He deliberately chose the ultra bright piano sound to cut through the fuzzy tones of his rock band

İt was a torture to wait for the song to start. So bizarre... XS

I enjoyed his Australia + Melbourne orchestra. But he needs to release his farewell tour when he finishes it
I saw him in 86 in Atlanta. His voice was fine. He came out right at 8 and played until 11:45.
Look at that guitar! Lol
They went to church
The screaming banshee stuff is a bit too heavy for my dated arse. 2:39
Wtf!
Michael Jackson's drummer.
We stop picking bananas at 00:03:15!
Wtf
