(Yes , the mod about which you are thinking right now can also be installed by following this method). ▶ I cant find skse for my version of the game. - If you cant find skse for your version of the game then download skse which is for a version just above your version of the game. ▶ I cant find Skyrim Legendary edition in Games of Vortex. - If you have Skyrim Legendary Edition then you have to select "Skyrim" from Games. ▶ The skse which i downloaded didn't show the version of the game. - Try other skse archive to find the version, if none of them work then you will have to download the game from some other source. ▶ I downloaded the correct version of skse but it still says to update the game !! - You havnt installed the skse correctly, copy all the files from skse archive to the game folder AGAIN, if asked to overwrite files if needed. ▶ *How do i update my SkyrimSE game?* - Here is a simple tutorial : ruclips.net/video/qxTFtuFNRSM/видео.html ▶ I got *"cant find TESV.exe"* missing error : - TESV is for Skyrim and SkyrimLegendaryEdition not for Special edition. I'm thinking about getting the game for Steam, because somehow Nemesis isn't working on MO2 when i'm trying to run Crouch Slide mod on cracked version. If I run MO2 as admin (it requires me because i have to run skse64_launcher as admin) Nemesis won't start. If I run MO2 normally than It works. When I join the game as admin, the animation doesn't work and it's buggy. The caracter is standing still and it's "sliding" all across the map being bugged. What should I do? Get the Steam version and mod that? (PS: There isn't a problem about versions, everything is matching I've checked. I think It's either a) all those programs like Mo2, Nemsis, etc need Steam or b) When FitGirl cracked her skyrim SE, f*ed up something in the code).

yes but on the piracy version the mod don't work so we could play with mods only with official version game and it is as that for many games now...it is becoming a big shit but it is what games becoming but only mods are interesting for many games now as for example heart of iron IV so without the mod the game loosing all interest ...but we get it on the ass because official version game then kick it out if the mod didn't work so we return on PS it have not any reason to loosing time and even those who have the official version installing mods may loose their minds all those dependencies take my head and all that for nothing because piracy version ...

Brother, You cannot imagine the joy I experienced today, when I first say the SkyUI menu in my game. I have tried to install mods on and off for about a year now, and it never worked. Usually involves a day or two of futile meaningless attempts and then dissapointment. Thank you for taking the time to carefully address every mistake we might make and every problem we might face. I had absolutely no issues while following your instructions. And frankly I was half expecting it to not work. after all the steps done when i start skyrim it doesn't give me that window to choose the save with mods. It starts without the mod but i've installed them on vortex following the steps.

This video is still golden for its time the only change I would suggest is while trying to get the version just take the .Dll and .exe to the install folder and execute. Mainly because once you get the version its easy to delete, once the version pops up take the help of google to identify what is the skse version for that skyrim and then follow the video to the T. i follow all the steps and launch the game flawlessly with skse64, but the mods is just isnt there, i only tried installing the SkyUI and better map, is the problem this? God bless you, man! I did notice one thing which wasn't a problem for you but was for me. Every time I clicked on the correct version of the script extender loader, it asked if I wanted to run the program as administrator. This setup isn't going to work for a program that has to run on it's own. Even with the correct files, they weren't running. So I right clicked and changed it to always run as administrator under properties... But security features being what they are nowadays, it wouldn't take yes for an answer and still wouldn't do it! So when it asked to run as admin this time, I had to go to the option they give for "how often you get these messages," (when you make changes to your computer) and set it to never show up. Not really optimal, I guess, but I'll just turn it down when I'm trying to get the game to run. I've been trying to get this to run for three days. Three days! I switched back and forth between MO2 and Vortex, DLed the mods several times, messed with my graphics settings (was getting crashes), and nothing to show for it. Looks like it's finally going to work since I don't get the message from SkyUi that Script Extender isn't working. Again, God friggen bless you. UPDATE: So far it's only working with Vortex, still not working with MO2 for some odd reason.

My Skyrim AE is closing by itself with no messages when I start the game, after I installed some mods. It's also closing by itself when entering in the create a character/prisioner menu. I followed many tutorials and downloaded the recommended many game file managers to order these mods (Only LOOT, SSEE and Vortex) and made sure everything was updated to the latest version (Including the SKSE) and I had no problems with it. I just don't know how to solve these mod issues. I tried a lot of things and it still keeps closing itself sometimes after entering the game menu, starting the game or entering the create a character menu. What could possibly be the issues with it? I don't think there's anything wrong with my game until the point of SKSE so far. The problem only occurs with the mods which I installed with Vortex, all for Aniversary Edition.

the way i found out which version i was on was by the date that my skyrim properties showed it was created on and used the skse archived version pages date portion to find the version that was created on or right after the properties file was created, but that might not be true for every version

Sooooo, I did alll of this, & unfortunately when I run SKSE Loader file, it brings me straight to Skyrim SE on Steam to buy the game, but when I load Skyrim through the original cracked launcher, it launches the game without a problem. What gives? ? I can't seem to load my cracked Skyrim SE through the SKSE Loader without it sending me to steam to buy it.... (Confused)
Check if anything from FAQ in the pinned comment works for you. This kind of error is hard to resolve, and some solutions work for some people while it doesn't for others.

Yes, dont install mods which are not for skyrimse they wont work. In nexusmods website you can select the game and only view mods which are for that game.
I have a question, you only showed how to install mods that change the UI and such, I want to know how to add mods like race menu, is it the same process or do I need to tamper with the creation kit.
It does work for me but there's 1 thing: SKSE says i need TESV as the name for Skyrim, and Vortex says i need SkyrimSE I thought i solved it by copying the SkyrimSE and re-naming it to TESV, the game itself did launch but no mods were active in the game How do i solve this problem?

I dont know if your going to see this but worth a shot. i have the legendary edition i downloaded the skse the one for classic and legendary edition, i installed it in the folder with the TESV.exe there is a skyrimlauncher.exe in the folder too but when i click the skse_loader.exe it opens a black window then immidiately closes, no error message but also no game. please help
I am done with the updates and the bullshit. I have a hotbox with 100 gigs of data and installing and verifying games files for 7 hours straight ate 80 gigs of my data and I still can't get this damn downgrade patcher to work. Fuck Bethesda my game was working fine again after 4 months of waiting to get the mods updated again and September 20th rolled around and fucked everything up because my steam restarted completely and made it auto update ugh...
Im going to Pirate because I already have the game but I am without internet for vast periods of time and I found that after a while of being offline steam, it essentially tells me that I cannot play the game unless I go online... when I don't have internet to log in in the first place. Anything to watch out for? like if I play it will it be missing some sounds like Oblivion? (Same reason as above)
Hey! a bit late to the whole thing but yea I have a slight problem First of I'm forced to launch it as Admin which is not a big problem but When I try to launch skse64 launcher it opens a Command Prompt window and instantly closes again basically, nothing happens and I can't launch. Brother, You cannot imagine the joy I experienced today, when I first say the SkyUI menu in my game. I have tried to install mods on and off for about a year now, and it never worked.
Usually involves a day or two of futile meaningless attempts and then dissapointment.

after all the steps done when i start skyrim it doesn't give me that window to choose the save with mods. It starts without the mod but i've installed them on vortex following the steps.

This video is still golden for its time the only change I would suggest is while trying to get the version just take the .Dll and .exe to the install folder and execute. Mainly because once you get the version its easy to delete, once the version pops up take the help of google to identify what is the skse version for that skyrim and then follow the video to the T.

I installed the correct version but when I opened the launcher it opens a black screen for one second but it immidinly closes
If you delete the downloaded the files and start the game like you used to do. Then you can play the game without any problems but without the mods.

I did notice one thing which wasn't a problem for you but was for me. Every time I clicked on the correct version of the script extender loader, it asked if I wanted to run the program as administrator. This setup isn't going to work for a program that has to run on it's own. Even with the correct files, they weren't running. So I right clicked and changed it to always run as administrator under properties... But security features being what they are nowadays, it wouldn't take yes for an answer and still wouldn't do it! So when it asked to run as admin this time, I had to go to the option they give for "how often you get these messages," (when you make changes to your computer) and set it to never show up. Not really optimal, I guess, but I'll just turn it down when I'm trying to get the game to run.
I've been trying to get this to run for three days. Three days! I switched back and forth between MO2 and Vortex, DLed the mods several times, messed with my graphics settings (was getting crashes), and nothing to show for it. Looks like it's finally going to work since I don't get the message from SkyUi that Script Extender isn't working.

UPDATE: So far it's only working with Vortex, still not working with MO2 for some odd reason.

My Skyrim AE is closing by itself with no messages when I start the game, after I installed some mods. It's also closing by itself when entering in the create a character/prisioner menu. I followed many tutorials and downloaded the recommended many game file managers to order these mods (Only LOOT, SSEE and Vortex) and made sure everything was updated to the latest version (Including the SKSE) and I had no problems with it. I just don't know how to solve these mod issues. I tried a lot of things and it still keeps closing itself sometimes after entering the game menu, starting the game or entering the create a character menu. What could possibly be the issues with it? I don't think there's anything wrong with my game until the point of SKSE so far. The problem only occurs with the mods which I installed with Vortex, all for Aniversary Edition.

the way i found out which version i was on was by the date that my skyrim properties showed it was created on and used the skse archived version pages date portion to find the version that was created on or right after the properties file was created, but that might not be true for every version

I played anniversary gog and after I install the mod my game Broke,npc and gate at early got clossed

Sooooo, I did alll of this, & unfortunately when I run SKSE Loader file, it brings me straight to Skyrim SE on Steam to buy the game, but when I load Skyrim through the original cracked launcher, it launches the game without a problem. What gives? ? I can't seem to load my cracked Skyrim SE through the SKSE Loader without it sending me to steam to buy it.... (Confused)
Check if anything from FAQ in the pinned comment works for you. This kind of error is hard to resolve, and some solutions work for some people while it doesn't for others.

Yes, dont install mods which are not for skyrimse they wont work.
In nexusmods website you can select the game and only view mods which are for that game.

It does work for me but there's 1 thing: SKSE says i need TESV as the name for Skyrim, and Vortex says i need SkyrimSE
I thought i solved it by copying the SkyrimSE and re-naming it to TESV, the game itself did launch but no mods were active in the game

No, there is no need to sign in if you enabled mods using the Vortex mod manager.

This is not a error related to skyrim but caused because of stuff in your windows. You can find a solution by a Google search.

I am done with the updates and the bullshit. I have a hotbox with 100 gigs of data and installing and verifying games files for 7 hours straight ate 80 gigs of my data and I still can't get this damn downgrade patcher to work. Fuck Bethesda my game was working fine again after 4 months of waiting to get the mods updated again and September 20th rolled around and fucked everything up because my steam restarted completely and made it auto update ugh...

Im going to Pirate because I already have the game but I am without internet for vast periods of time and I found that after a while of being offline steam, it essentially tells me that I cannot play the game unless I go online... when I don't have internet to log in in the first place.
Anything to watch out for? like if I play it will it be missing some sounds like Oblivion? (Same reason as above)
