- Hello! Welcome to a new ASMR extremely personal questions video! In this one, I give you 100 different statements and you have to answer if you agree or disagree with them. Some are pretty controversial and others are silly. I hope you enjoy the writing sounds and mouth sounds, and sorry about any stomach growling lol. Let me know what all of your answers would be! 1. Disagree. To an extent at least. I see homework in a lot of educational systems as just extra work tacked on to cover for the lack of rigor in class. In systems like Finland's, it'd designed to emphasize a lesson. And even then, the teacher has discretion as to how it should be done.
2. Agree.
3. Disagree. It's a matter of perspective. Is it a sign of laziness that the average homemaker now has time to do other things while their washing machine is cleaning their clothes, rather than having to scrub in a bucket for hours?
4. DISAGREE.
5. Disagree. The majority should be, but some are too addictive and troublesome to warrant it. Krokodil in Russia for example. (CW: Don't look it up unless you have a strong stomach.)
6. Hard disagree.
7. Idc, so disagree like you said.
8. Agree in principle. It depends on the circumstances where you live.
9. Good question. I agree somewhat, but I also think a child should be taught about and free to choose a masculine or feminine identity also.
10. Disagree. There is no reason to preference one over another, but it shouldn't be missed either.
11. Disagree in principle, but logistically, swimming in the pool is easier.
12. Disagree. Not all children are the same, and requiring uniformity is foolish. School takes up a child's formative years and they should be allowed to express themselves within reason, and so long as their education doesn't suffer from it. Not suggesting piercings etc lmao.
13. I think it depends on your diet and where you come from. They're not the same for me, so disagree.
14. Agree. The conditions for life on earth to exist came after a series of infinitismally lucky occurences. But the universe is so vast it has to have happened at least once somewhere else, or will happen somewhere else sometime.
15. Agree. It doesn't have to be socialized like the UK's to be universal. Canada, Germany, Switzerland's etc are all universal but privately provided.
16. Agree. Mustard also belongs on them tho.
17. This is just objectively true. By nearly every metric humanity is better off than a century ago. Even warfare is (with notable exceptions) far more "civilized" than in 1923.
18. Disagree. Instruments are a valid means of self-expression but some are better with the written word, art etc. And being required to learn one defeats the purpose. Any music you create with it will be stilted and awkward.
19. I disagree. Both sexes' troubles are interlinked and both deserve better.
20. Agree. 😋
21. Disagree, but rules around payment of loans should be better legislated on.
22. Two.
23. I would like that but I don't think it should be compulsory. Marriage is just a civil contract that holds less weight than it used to.
24. Disagree. E-books on my phone are infinitely more convenient.
25. Provided the recipient is of sound mind, is not coerced, and is mature enough to make that decision, yes, I agree.
26. Agree because it tastes weird reheated.

28. Depends. In principle, disagree.
29. Disagree. If someone wants to continue working because it's a social outlet for them, they're bored etc -- who are we to say they can't?
30. Agree. My degree is in mathematics but I work in an IT job I got through apprenticeship.
31. Agree. The hole is just more inconvenient when not toasted for some reason.
32. Absolutely not. Disagree. That isn't a power the state should possess.
33. Agree in principle but not yet. When automation becomes prevalent enough to offset the loss in productivity, yes.
34. Agree.
35. Too early to say, but in principle, yes, provided we're wise in how we legislate it.
36. Disagree. Lying has a valid place in human social interaction. It's just a question of knowing when you should and shouldn't do it.
37. Absolutely agree. I like chocolate but not as an ice cream flavor.
38. Agree. But if you like iPhones, that's valid too.
39. I don't know what that means.
40. Disagree. If vegetarianism fits into your lifestyle, that's great. But meat's too tasty for me to give up.
41. Agree.
42. Objectively true. All other things being equal, polar bears; great white sharks; tigers and lions etc can overmatch us one on one, but we have ways to level that field should the need be there. Human intelligence made us earth's apex predator for a reason.
43. Disagree. Material security is a precondition for happiness.
44. Agree if you can only concieve of one method of teaching. If you're willing to explore other methods, boys do just as well.
45. Agree generally. My parents sacrificed a lot for me, and I will do all I can to care for them when they're old. But if a parent doesn't fulfil their child's needs despite having the opportunity, and fails in properly raising them, that child has no obligation to them.
46. Agree. But you also have the right to seek the company of others of your group when you're there. They provide a community to support you while you adjust. Over time, those communities will become part of the local scenery with integrated folk, like the various Chinatowns in many American cities.
47. Agree. They're both disgusting.
48. I would say it is. Agree.
49. Disagree. It's just the latest moral panic that'll disappear in time except among boomers.
50. Agree. But I find that the people who complain most about participation trophies often are the ones most deserving of them.

52. Disagree. Whoever says this has never fluffed a roll in a tabletop game with a good GM.
53. Depends. Generally, I disagree, as some people are successful because of a windfall they didn't seek. But sometimes having luck still requires talent to exploit to your benefit. Discovery of penicillin could have ended with him throwing that vital petri dish away, but he was canny enough to see the possibilities.

55. Good question. I've never really considered it and have to think about it.
56. It can be. It isn't as a default.

58. Agree. Polycules aren't my thing but I've seen them work well.
59. Disagree. Would be ideal but it defeats the purpose of charity. We pay taxes for welfare provision.
60. Disagree. That's just cope to get through tough times. Which is valid, but it's still copium.

72. Disagree. Children are smarter than given credit for, but they are not smarter than adults.

74. Agree. You're statistically more likely to die on your way to pick up your winnings than to actually win.
75. Agree to a point. Rationality has to be tempered by ethics, which are informed at least partially by human emotion.
76. Ideally you'd be both, but if I had to choose, I would choose to be intelligent.
77. Absolutely disagree. It's clearly observable under the right conditions.
78. Objectively correct. I am attracted to other women. I am not attracted to anthropomorphized bats.

83. Disagree. Sometimes people just want someone to listen to them, not to charge in to 'help' and take their agency away.
84. Depends on personal POV. Religious people are required to say yes. I see no reason to agree with them.
85. Science can provide a possible answer to everything based on observable evidence. That's not the same as being able to explain everything.

87. Manifestly not true. The world is an unfair place.
88. Agree. I don't like surprises and I feel awkward having to feign happiness when receiving something.
89. Agree somewhat. Genetics go explain why some people go for certain behaviors but upbringing can make someone more determined to resist or accept certain courses.
90. It depends whether you define voting as right or duty. I define it as a duty. Agree.
91. I greatly prefer it.

93. Disagree. Regrets provide an opportunity for personal growth.
94. I would personally like one, but I can definitely understand why people think weddings are a waste of money.
95. Agree. The cookie is unexceptional.

99. Disagree. Some kids aren't mature enough for it and being forced to care for it will lead to resentment.
100. In the sense it's meant, I agree with it. But as a statement of fact it's plainly wrong.

the only question im compelled to leave a comment about is the straw one because hear me out. it has no holes. nowhere has any hole been stamped into a surface, but instead ifs curved around itself.... im not explaining it very well i hope you get my prophetic straw related vision here
I think it depends on how straws are made, if they’re extruded then I would consider that a hole but if they are wrapped then that wouldn’t count
I guess that begs the question of the definition of a hole 🤔

I just wanted to say that I really love videos like this, I find myself coming back to them when my mind can’t switch off, they give me something else to focus on - they’re simple, but not enough that I’m bored by them, they get the little cogs in my head turning to the question instead of the stresses that are keeping me awake. So, I appreciate these videos so much more than I can place into words.
… and maybe one day I’ll make it past the 15 minute mark before I pass out 😂

32. No not really because certain people have such motherly instincts and make great parents but on the other hand should have more steps to securing the right to parenthood and better help for those you can’t fall pregnant.

12. Disagree, uniforms are expensive and you’d have to buy several pairs, and I think kids should be able to wear the clothes that they feel comfortable with and confident with. I don’t wear school uniform (luckily).

I think generally, if we count all of the world, then women have it harder. But I think it’s pretty equal in the west, we just have different struggles.

1. agree. i get that some people need homework to practice but i don’t think everyone should be given it. it’s useless for someone who doesn’t really need it, when they could be spending more time studying subjects they’re not as strong in.

19. agree. i think overall in this society it’s harder to be a woman. but it also really depends on what path you wanna take with your life. if you wanna take the corporate route, it’s harder to be a woman. if you wanna take the social media (easy) route, it’s easier to be a woman. i’ve seen girls make millions of dollars on tiktok just for being pretty, then there are other beautiful women who are struggling to climb the corporate ladder just cause they’re a woman

You can’t teach anyone anything if you don’t push them into something, and either way they will be confused. Yes, but in a way that is more open to customisation (eg, school shirt and skirt but allow own jackets, socks, shoes, undershirts) in this way, allows students to be comfortable but also limited exposure and enforces a group mentality. I had to wear one and i hated it because the shirt was fitted and the jackets were itchy so i never wore it.

11. Depends on the pool and the ocean but I would say from personal experience swimming in the ocean is more fun and wild however the pool can be more versatile as you can have inflatable courses or flumes

Society has progressed in many ways and we have started to become more open to accepting different people however we still lots of war and crime and violence going on that should and of course the big issue of global warming becoming an ever increasing problem- with a lot of species of animal facing extinction.

19. In the UK I would agree as unfortunatly women face lots of issues such as rape, sexual abuse and sexual harrasment which is arising in more cases than believed such as in hospitals. In other parts of the world they also face lots of issues too. However it is not a competition and we should be trying to ensure that both men and women have easier and better lives in today's society!
20. I think the best cookies are crispy on the outside and slightly chewy in the middle!
