20:55 I actually love this question because I feel like I actually have an answer! The first chicken came from an egg, but that egg doesn't have to have come from a chicken. Therefore, the egg came before the chicken :]
Not really, a chicken can only lay a chicken egg, and a ostrich an ostrich egg and so forth, the chicken came first, because the chicken wasn't always a chicken. It evolved to be one

@@pamelaasmr Selective breeding, mostly. Or you could argue random chance, but I’m a vet student sooo. Just like how sheep, domestic cattle, and dogs came to be; the first dog probably came from an animal we’d call a wolf because it wasn’t quite right yet, and same with the chicken
@@captainhydra4291 Well if you think about it from an evolutionary/selective breeding perspective, at what point did we separate the ancestor from the chicken? Maybe that ancestor was too flighty, didn’t produce enough eggs, and was smaller, but one laid an egg that fit the criteria we were looking for and was dubbed a chicken (I’m aware things change names, but this question is a silly one so I’m not being too stringent on rules). Therefore, the first chicken hatched from an egg, that didn’t necessarily come from an animal we’d dub a chicken

Just wanted to say, maybe it's different where you're from but my parents switched to electric and are saving money now. They got a small one, a VW, not a Tesla or anything, cause yeah, they're luxury cars. And I think the electric car was still more expensive than a gas powered car with similar stats to buy, but overtime electric is cheaper, here atleast, because some places let you charge your car for free, you can charge it for a little more electricity bill at home and even when you pay to charge it it's cheaper than gas! I think there were some other details but the take away is that electric cars can be cheaper, try doing the maths for where you live, you might be surprised !!

1. Iced water. There's something about room temperature water that throws me off. It always makes me sick for some reason.
2. Honestly can't decide. I'm fully 50/50.
3. Skydiving looks fun (but also scary of course) and I've seen too many video documentaries about people dying while going scuba diving so yk. 😭
4. Traditional. I don't really take medication that often & I don't need alternative medication so.
5. "Pacon"
6. Sisters. Even though they start a lot of drama, I've gone through way more physical fights with my brother than I have with both of my sisters COMBINED.
7. Purple. The green ones are always too soft and they don't give me that satisfying pop that the purple ones do.
8. Mortal. Even though I'm horrified of death, living forever and having to deal with the pain of losing everybody I love would definitely cause me to go insane.
9. Well done. I don't know HOW people can eat rare/medium-rare but... 🤢
10. Liquid. Gets the job done faster and it smells stronger in my opinion.
11. Spicy for everything except for salsa. Mild salsa is the best thing to ever be created.
12. For half of my life I was rocking a side part which looked HORRENDOUS on me. Definitely middle part.
13. No nuts unless it's a Drumstick. Then I want nuts. (I thought you said donuts at first and I was so confused.)
14. Used for clothing (not underwear or bras) because it's cheaper, but brand new for furniture.
15. It depends on whats being talked about. If it's something that I'm interested in, I'll talk for hours, but if it's something that I'm not really interested in, I'll listen anyways.
16. Glasses. Contacts scare me to be honest. I can't imagine digging my nails into my eyes while trying to get a random piece of rubber out. Ew.
17. Gas. Electric cars look difficult to charge and they're overall way more expensive than gas cars.

The “chicken or egg” is my favorite because to the Greeks, it was an egg! The entity chaos cracked an egg and out spewed the universe. Essentially making the egg before the chicken!

the mortal versus immortal question has always seemed obvious to me, but i’m reading these comments and realizing people don’t hold my same opinion and it’s CATCHING ME OFF GAURD. for me, the answer has always been mortal. forever is a LONG time. I think the reason life seems so precious is because we know that at some point it will come to an end. you appreciate your time because it is limited. I’m not religious, but the aspect of death plays a huge role in many religions and is even a comfort in many of them. the idea of never dying seems like a curse. Watching everyone around you grow old and die and YOURSELF being the only constant in your own life seems like a lonely timeline. and it would be a timeline that never ends.

So, at a certain point, an egg was laid by a captive Red Junglefowl. The junglefowl could have bred with its fellow junglefowls, even if released back into the wild. But during meiosis, the egg gamete (or perhaps the sperm gamete of the father junglefowl) experienced the final mutation necessary to make its resulting offspring too different from the wild junglefowl to successfully breed. And thus, the chicken was born. From the egg. The egg was first.

i wouldnt want to skydive or scuba dive, both sound very scary to me, but id rather scuba dive because at least then its morenjust discomfort with the brething and water pressure as opposed to the utter terror i have of heights. plus, if i get to see fish ill be happy, i love fish i think theyre beautiful
