I’m so glad I did. It took me a while because I loved meat, but there are so many ways to replicate the taste now, and it’s so much healthier and kinder to animals. Can’t wait to try this.
I’m already skeptical about parts of the meat and dairy industry, which is why I don’t eat fast food or any place where the animals used are mistreated, and while I do have ideas supporting both why and why not to be vegan I reckon I should try it out and see if I can do it. Bro I’m not a vegan as I eat mostly the food my mom makes for the family but as soon as I move out and make my own food I’m going to try to turn vegan because of your videos
I have a question, when you use tofu to recreate something similar to meat does it take something like fish or meat or just tofu (i am not going vegan i just wanted to know)
Tofu is cheap (where I am) as are beans, tortillas etc. For the marinade, I use mostly pantry staples and a few "speciality" ingredients like mushroom powder that can be found online or at Asian markets. They are pretty cheap considering I'm only using a tablespoon or so of it. A bag of it is $15 but lasts me about 6 months or so.
Question, is there a vegan style meat that doesn't have to be tofu? I've had tofu before and I didn't like it. I would like to try the vegan or vegetarian style looks like that
the ending shot is not the real deal burrito in question. but if it weren't open ended, it'd be like the last shot of a movie having a building in the way of the horizon. props to all your creative choices for the sake of a better video Burger Dude!
Not to be confrontational in anyway I just want to know a vegan’s opinion but what do you think about how much insects die in the production of wheat based foods and how many animals are slaughtered to keep foods like wasabi and other crops safe from being eaten?
Vegans are against harming animals unnecessarily. We have to eat something. A plant-based diet kills way less animals. www.surgeactivism.org/articles/debunked-do-vegans-kill-more-animals-through-crop-deaths?format=amp

Dont forget to eat it with Ze bebsi!
You should cook dairy queen but vegan next

Hey, I'm wondering if I make this, won't it get soggy? How long can I keep this in the fridge ?
You are supposed to freeze them, not just in the fridge.
I have a question, when you use tofu to recreate something similar to meat does it take something like fish or meat or just tofu (i am not going vegan i just wanted to know)
Tofu has protein like meat so it replaces the meat to make a healthy diet, it’s flavoured like the beef

Yes

About the same level of mush as a regular burrito
I can't believe bro didn't use taco seasoning

Only when they lose their tempeh
Do the "meaty marinades" actually taste like meat?
They taste meaty (savory, umami etc), but I can't say they taste exactly like meat since it's been a while.
