- In todays video we are back with another trucking vlog in this episode as you can probably tell we made a mistake, and that mistake caught up with us. We start our week off doing loads from The Royal Highland Show 2024 but it all goes wrong when we get pulled by the DVSA / VOSA and of course The Manchester Traffic Police.

Business is brutal mate. If your not they all will be brutal against you. One tip. Wear gloves. Had to many accidents with chains n Warwick’s. And it keeps your steering wheel and handles clean.

Long as you do your job properly, go above and beyond make sure you cover your self on every angle then you have nothing to worry about. Trucker Tim had the same issue when he changed his number plate but didn't do the tachograph and they gave him 7 days to get it sorted. Granted he got nailed for his tinted windows which launched a full investigation into the maintenance and he antics with his side pipe and smoke. Me personally have only had one encounter with the dvsa in 2 years of driving and everything was fine. The company I work for want the curtains tight, buckles and straps tucked under the buckles and the loads strapped.

What police is saying about wrong position satnav on windscreen and so many items in view in front of windscreen?
Is that at the end of the m65 because the police I’ve been pulling everyone there at the minute . It’s been full every time I’ve drove past 😂
Hi, do you recall me giving you the heads-up a few videos ago, about the purge that the traffic cops were having. . I don't think that you will get done as you have made an effort and your over hang is so low. 😊

Have you considered that handheld videoing is illegal whilst in control of a vehicle?
You should have your camera mounted to the window etc when using it whilst driving. It’s 6 points and £200 fine if someone should report it.
It’s a grey area that one. Mate it’s illegal to hold a device that can send or receive which a GoPro can’t
@@ShaunThomson_ Fair enough. The law states ‘It’s illegal to hold and use a phone, sat nav, tablet, or any device that can send or receive data, while driving or riding a motorcycle.’
I believe Go Pros have wifi, bluetooth and USB connections which means they can send or receive data. :)

@@ShaunThomson_ brother, they don't care if you eat, why should you for them? Your only loyalty is to yourself and your customers. They see you as the enemy. Just focus on you and your customers and you won't see them at all. This is your livelihood. Its not a hobby.
Its a disgrace they photograph your truck then post it up for all the keyboard warriors and super hauliers that never make a mistake but if you say you do RUclips can i film all this they would have a fit tell you its government property cant do that here
When they were all taking photos i would have hung out the window giving them the digit and recorded every one of them
