Thank you. Your video was more helpful than their 30 page manual. Being a newbie who just moved in to my first house I did not know what the different buttons were for and the manual sucks. It lists the various buttons without saying what any of them are for. It has a picture of what I believe to be an oil can but did not say if it was oil. And if so how often do I put oil on it. And what type of oil and how much oil? All over or just in one certain spot?
Congratulations on your first house. This is a great hedge trimmer. Just put a drop of 3-in-1 machine oil on the blade, at all the points before and after use, to ensure long life. Good luck with it all!!
like your video but the claim of cutting 3/4' (nickel size) would be most impressive....see how fast it can cut thru say a dozen 3/4" dowels...ito see where it bogs dow....if possible...THANK YOU ! :) jd wiggins
It's been a few years since I made this video, but the trimmer is still going strong. I'm thinking it goes through 3/4" twigs easier than a kiln dried hardwood dowel because the twig is wrapped in a softer outer bark, leaving an inner hardwood part of maybe 1/2" or 5/8". It also has a higher moisture content, making it easier to go through. I'm not sure it would be a true representation of how it works on shrubs and bushes.
What brand of 'earmuffs' do you have? Cost?? Did you try this on an even woodier shrub? How thick of a shrub/hedge branch would this cut thru? What seems to be a reasonable price for this model of the Worx hedge trimmer? What is the model # of this particular hedge trimmer? Thank you in advance!
I finally settled on the Worktunes that have bluetooth and am/fm. I didn't try it on anything thicker than 3/4". Their top of the line one is 56V, 24" long, and cuts up to 3/4". I believe it's $179. They have cheaper options too.
Thanks for another great review Mark!
+WORXTools You're welcome, anytime.
I was amazed how well the electric trimmer works. No fuel to mix or transport... A definite thumbs up!
:)
After looking at your video I purchased one of these great product Thanks
This one really does a great job. It competes well against other ones that cost a lot more.
Well thought out. Great advice on trimming.
Thanks for the comment!
Ugh. I needed to see how you out that switch handle on!
I believe you just squeeze the round handle part and then pull the trigger with your other hand.

markthomasbuilder Thank you! I appreciate the info.
Does it have the power to cut small/little trees?
It cuts the thicker branches in the bushes and shrubs. I wouldn't really say it's for small trees, like saplings.
Mine's don't work
Hopefully it's under warranty.
