Man watching how much you guys press your face into the gun reminds me that I don't do this near as much as I probably should. Need to really huge the gun like you guys do.

Appreciate the camera angles. More of these please.

more coming... tomorrow there will be a handicap and then a full episode of the guys giving some tips on how they shoot singles is up next. Stay Tuned!
Do you guys ever put the gun down on a pad when you shoot? Just looking at your process. Thanks!
Once you are mounted and set your bead on the hold point, you both take another couple seconds before calling for the bird. I realize this is probably time to set your eyes. What is that exactly for each of you? Do you check bead alignment then out into the field? Creating a soft and wide focus? Looking through the gun? Over the gun…height? Essentially, what is it that makes you feel ‘set’ visually before you call for the bird?
No bead checking for these guys. They are getting still and setting the eyes. Then when ready calling. Don't rush this part of the process. When you are ready and everything is set call for the bird.
Ricky & Zack,
What is your off-season practice regimen? I remember two or three guys who would put in extra full chokes and speed up the targets during the off-season. Does this make sense to you two? On the surface it seems like the tighter chokes would really dial in your leads and the extra speed on the targets would sharpen your reflexes, but I’ve never done it so I don’t know if it would have positive results.
add to Ask US!
I have never shot in Tucson however with that said is it more difficult to pick up the target with that background compared to clubs in the Midwest?
This is great video please do doable and 27 yards
Working on it!
Zach, are you still working on your pattern stock? Theres a quick video idea, we'd like to see a review of your stock progression.
I will ask him to keep the recording going anytime he gets work done on it.
How did you two do at the spring grand? Scores. Thanks for sharing.
Check out all of the scores here... shootscoreboard.com/reports.cfm?reportid=hoa&shootid=1609
Spoiler... Ricky won HOA, HAA, Doubles and Handicap!
Ricky cleaned house.
Question for you two. Any reason behind calling for the bird by saying “UGH” ? Opposed to “pull”
I understand everyone does it differently. Thought I’d ask.
When you say pull you move your mouth. It changes your mount on the comb and potentially moves your head. UGH does not have that same issue and the sound can be made with the mouth open the entire time.
Well that’s interesting! Thank you so much!
Ricky you hav'nt walked six miles in the last six years. Well maybe if there was a pizza at each half mile mark
Shoot I'd go six miles just to outrun your dumb jokes! ;)
Only shit talkers can get away with shit talking. If you ain’t got it, don’t try it.
🤣
Whats with the colonoscopy cave man sounds??? Cant you guys say pull? That sounds lazy/painful
Sounds better than the groans when you try to get out of your lazy chair!!!
