Whenever I want to peer into the future of what my home gym habit will evolve into if left unchecked, I come over to check out Brandon's latest review video. Some really dope customization going on here.
Yeah Ghost was awesome and Tim was great to work with. He was a hard worker for sure - quick to respond on email with everything else I’m sure he had going on.
Awesome piece! I really like that you are reviewing some of the stuff you have had for a while. Would still really love a long-term review of the Prime Fitness Single Stack, especially since you have had it for a decent amount of time now.
It looks great in your space and you seem very happy with it. It's a definitely a conversation piece and it's value is in the eye of the beholder. But if you consider the balance in the tripod of form, function, and price. Then this piece is a stool that can only be utilized upside down.
It was such a bad move when they sold to Rogue, all the heavy duty equipment they made and now (Nothing) the color options were also amazing. Maybe they will sell the brand again to someone else.
From my understanding, Tim the owner approached Rogue to buy. He was dealing with some family stuff and rather than dissolve the brand, Rogue picked up the slack.
Hated to see Rogue consume the Ghost Strong company and stop making most of what Ghost offered. Not that I could have ever afforded any Ghost equipment, but it sure was nice. So wanted the competition bench press they made!
Nevertheless, those customized competition benches and combo racks were awesome. I hope someone occupies that space again in the equipment world. Their equipment was awesome. Can you get a combo rack like the Massenomics Ghost rack now?
Honestly, there is no plate tree in the world worth $1,750, you paid that for it because you wanted another personalized toy and that is perfectly fine. Spend your money how you want. I thought you were gonna say around $1000-$1,100, man you really wanted that toy. What kind of dumbbells are those on the floor to the left, they looked pretty cool?
Yeah this def isn't the budget pick, but I had my gym pretty much built out and just wanted to put my own spin on things. Thankfully I put the money this channel makes back into my own gym, so it doesn't sting as much. Those DBs are the chrome ones from Xmaster. I'll do a video on them soon.
That is one hell of a beautiful weight tree! Your vision for customization and the execution were both top notch. Not sure how it could be improved and I too think front BB Storage would upset the look. It’s really impressive and I like how Ghost even made the logo “pin drop” as thick as the tubing, instead of just bolting on a thin plate for them!
Question semi-related to this video: Have you ever had a situation where your tight tolerance strength co plates scrape off some of the chrome on one of your barbell sleeves? I ended up getting a chrome splinter after chipping off some of it on one of my barbell sleeves and I am assuming its because of the tight diameter on my strength co plates. Curious about your experience with it.
It is a Rogue Ohio Power Bar. It has a lifetime warranty, so I was able to reach out to rogue and they sent me a pair of replacement sleeves (upgraded from chrome to stainless steel sleeves for no charge) and were very apologetic to the situation.@@BasementBrandon

I think I've been pretty good lately 😇
Next level addiction
@@BasementBrandon Well, I haven't lol. I have enough new equipment to do a review once a week for all of 2024-- If I could just get motivated lol.
That’s sad about ghost. They were very high in quality and seemed great.
I believe the owner had some personal things going on and it wasn't his priority, but he wanted someone else to be able to carry the torch/brand.
Yeah Ghost was awesome and Tim was great to work with. He was a hard worker for sure - quick to respond on email with everything else I’m sure he had going on.
Can’t wait to see video on the axle bar
I need to, it's been a few years lol.
Went home for Christmas and worked out at the local YMCA. It drove me crazy that no one - clients or staff - put the plates away in any organized way.
That is annoying

Thanks! Part of it is I just want to document it as things tend to come in and out of the basement fairly often 😅

😭
That ASMR chalk tapping really did it for me. More please.
Treating it right :)
That weight tree is sick! The chalk bowl cracks me up though. You almost never use chalk! 😂
I think that's one of the big pros about having really nice bars. Grip usually isn't an issue!
Seeing NowayJose’s Ghost chalk bowl and raising it a plate tree 🤣 nice. It looks awesome. The custom stuff u have is something to behold.
He told me how much he paid for it, yikes lol.
@@BasementBrandon big numbers 🤣
That price stings but it does look very nice!!
Yeah these are def for the crowd who cares about the finer things in life vs someone who just wants cheap adjustables for home.
1 of 1!
Just like you 😘
If you were looking for that level of of customization on a weight tree today, where would you go? William Strength?
Prob would explore Williams Strength, Surplus Strength, Irwin & Oak
Just want to see you train with your beauty bells on the floor 😂
Lol Xmaster chrome DBs. I'll do a video on em soon.
@@BasementBrandon I know, I know…
Just holding up to my New Years Resolution to harass you more often. 🤣
Ghost Strength is what happens when gym equipment hops on gear.
😂
The most expensive weight tree on the internet.
I think Efren has me berat.
It’s so pretty buddy
💪
Flexing hard in 2024!
By showing things from 2021 😅
Who cares 'bout that weight tree dawg LMAO, are those Eleiko revolving handle dumbbells on the floor?! Those are the gems!!
Xmaster Chrome DBs
I spy xmaster dumbbells 🌝
Good eye!
The New most expensive plate tree in the world
Now need to put on the chrome plates to add to the value 🤪

Based off what I know it seems it was Ghost who approached Rogue to buy them.

@@S.Critch I believe you can only get it in black without any customization, which is crazy considering it retails for over $6k.

🥇
Rogue should start making custom pieces like this 🔥
I think they do too much volume as is that this would impede production

Nice “gucci gear” i need a bigger basement… hahahha
You and me both!

It will def outlast me 😅
Custom piece for an awesome space. Price is an absolute steal.
Thanks my dude!
That is an awesome weight stack. The chain holder add on is next level! Great work Ghost.
Thanks 👍
You do the best videos in the game IMO! Nice customized piece
I appreciate that!
the mullet of weight trees. hahahahahahahaahah
Best analogy that came to mind

I haven't had anything more than ecoat residue as the hubs inside wear some. What bar is it? sometimes you'll find sleeve diameters can also be off.
