Very interesting car, in America that was a 89-93 Pontiac LeMans. That 2.0 DOHC fat head, reminds me of a 1st generation 4AG63. Don’t believe I’ve ever seen one here. Nice machine. She looks fun.
Try getting Justin kuiler on the channel he is from Cape Town and has a mad c20xe 2l 16v turbocharged setup and he's car is known on Killarney as the lioncub 🔥🔥
Just from observation and my honest opinion ……., is it a standard exhaust manifold? The standard one is such a restriction that is usually removed as a first thing when tuning these engines. It will choke the engine to death with modifications like this. You have all the big modifications already on the engine. If you haven’t already, Having a large bore manifold will undoubtedly give you bigger gains, particularly when running ITB’s and other modifications you have. Another thing is to have a cold air duct coming into the engine bay for the inlet. A boxed system around the throttle bodies would be beneficial for you. Have some cold air feeding it 👌🏻. I have a boxed intake and a large 4-2-1 with straight through pipe on my Astra and it makes a huge difference!! These engines like cold air. Sorry I don’t mean to criticise your modifications, it just makes me want to scream with frustration when I see these beautiful engines heavily modified but haven’t addressed the most important aspects of tuning is to get fresh cold air in and quickly get rid of the exhaust. Yes the standard manifolds may fool people as they’re 4-2-1…… But they were designed for low end torque and emissions nonsense. Sorry 🫣🙈. It’s a beautiful car you have, such a clean example. These are so rare in the UK now, and the mk3. What benefits do you get from bigger lift exhaust cams only? No inlet cam to match?
