    HTTP- Hyper Text Transfer Protocol ,,,
    It means generally communication between client's computer and server.

  • @AdvaitPn
    @AdvaitPn Год назад

    Communication Protocols describe the way in which data is transferred from a machine to some other machine. Both machines are not connected directly so the data has to be routed via a network of connected machines. Protocols ensure that the data reaches its intended destination and the final data recieved at destination must be the same as what is sent by the sender.

    communication protocols:
    set of rules and standards that define how devices or systems communicate.
    Types:
    1.TCP/IP: Transmission control protocol/internet protocl,(tcp)provides reliable connection oriented data transmission, (ip) handles the addressing and routing the data packets across networks
    2. HTTP: Hyper Text Transfer protocol:Used for transferring hypertext(web)resources over the internet.
    http defines how the web communicates with the server to a request and deliver web pages and resources.
    3.File Transfer Protocol: It is a standard for transferring the file from the client side to the server on a network, it provides some set of command or say features for file sharing like, upload , download,rename and delete.
    4.SSH(secure sell): it is a cryptographic network protocol,provides secure "remote" login and file transfer between networked devices. offers encrypted communication and authentication methods to protect data and maintain network security.
    5. IMAP /POP:(internet message access protocol and post office protocol)
    imap is used to help the email clients to manage and retrieve their emails on the servers, where as the pop downloads them on the client's system
    these are the few i know.
