Common problem upgrading a car in NFS U2: Put all the extreme upgrades but you need other single parts to have the max performance All you have to do is put every package in order to keep some missing parts when you upgrade into extreme
Awesome video! But you shoukd have used a dofferent car as an example for NFSMW and showed the large variety of vinyl options. Same for NFSC with the vinyls. You should have shown the options for using the Vinyl creator and moving stuff and whatever
Not much of a customization, but in High Stakes and Porsche Unleashed you had some options, like with HS you have 3 upgrade tiers with visual and performance upgrades and Porsche Unleashed allows you to change couple of things like spoilers, wheels and bumpers.
Brian Rodriguez well most wanted is the same as carbon but it’s different cause in carbon you can make your own body kit in the game but in most wanted you can’t they just give you some body kits that are in the game itself and brought it to carbon
@9600GTMAN not really tho dude. There were 5 body kits for almost every car and the super ones had at least 2, there were like 14 Sport and 19 Tuner spoilers (and you can have both of them in Carbon fibre too), a lot of hoods and roof scoops as well. They could've added some more rims though. There was a quite a fair amount of vinyls to choose from as well as 10 flame body and body stripe designs. A lot of the kits looked really good too. But yeah it did have a lot less options than what underground 2 had, me was more of a standard customization.
It's funny how people say underground is rice when we all know that most wanted carbon prostreet and undercover had even wider kits and people loved those I'm not hating tho I fw all of them
nfsu2 is the best, i know its excessive, but, so many variations in the game. Hydraulics was the best customization in my opinion, i can do wheelie by hydraulic like nfs pro street, but not that long wheelie (sorry for my bad English, becoz im not English user)
Customization in underground 2 and most wanted not bad...but I LOVE NEED FOR SPEED CARBON CUSTOMIZATIONNNNN!!!!!Since in 2006,they have that idea....nice EA Games...
if they combine Customization from underground 2 with nfs carbon it will be awesome and in nfs most wanted map maybe just combine this 3 game and the map
Underground was first, Carbon gave us much more in terms of customability, but imo ProStreet had the best system - not only looks, but customizing specs of engine, gears, tires, all of it had an effect ingame.
Is there anything that comes close to customizing like this today? When we gonna get an online car show simulator game where we can race people from across the world for pink slips and stuff?
I mean, Heat has ok customization. Its not extremely ricer like Underground, Carbon, or Most Wanted and you can choose your own vinyls but non of them are all that.
@@TheBossGaming Yes, tho its very basic. Depending on a car, there is Upgrade Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. Level 1 increases handling by adding upgraded tires and lowering suspension (sometimes a bodykit is installed kinda similar to stock autosculpt in nfs prostreet) and changes the normal driver to a race car driver with racing suit and helmet, Level 2 adds a better body kit for improved aero as well as weight reduction, Level 3 tunes the engine and upgrades the brakes and a livery is added. This is on the PC version. For the PS1 version, the Level 2 and Level 3 are swapped versions of PC Level 2 and 3
@A real bisexual petrol-head I may agree with you on NFS High Stakes. But NFS Porsche was the one with real customisation. Sorta. The only difference from NFS Underground (and subsequent games) is that they were all licensed Porsche Parts rather than aftermarket brands. The performance customisation worked in the same way as individual upgrades parts from NFS Underground 2. In NFS Porsche, each car had its own performance and body parts, u had to go to the parts shop and buy parts, then go to the car setup to install those bought parts. U can also sell parts (whether custom or stock parts). There were bumpers, rims, spoilers or wings, lightweight body parts such as hood, doors, quarterpanels made of either fiberglass or carbon fiber (depending on car), exhaust system, intake system, turbo, twin turbo, supercharger, engine upgrade, carburetor, flywheel, shocks, springs, brakes, sway bar, tires such as rain tires or slicks etc. These parts also sustain damage and can be repaired. The parts can also be sold in damaged condition at a very low price depending on damage. The strength of a part also differs depending on the part (such as heavy duty shocks are stronger than racing shocks but worse performance, carbon fiber parts are weaker than fiberglass parts but are lighter than fiberglass). Visual customisation (other than aformentioned body parts) is basic, as the there is only one type of paint but can choose any color just like nfs undercover (not like the color selection from underground to prostreet). U can add liveries but there are only 7 types and they are all stripes, with two colors which u can change. U can also add numbers on the car. U can also change interior color. The game also had tuning of tire pressure on front and rear, front and rear downforce, brake bias, spring stiffness, shock rebound, ride height. Gear ratios including final drive can also be tuned but only on race cars.
@A real bisexual petrol-head Yeah single manufacturer games can get boring for many people. I dont have a problem as long as there are lots of different cars from that manufacturer. This is the reason why single manufacturer games like nfs porsche and test drive ferrari racing legends are underrated. NFS porsche physics is simulation, which made it difficult master it, while it was easy to pickup, which was really why i enjoyed it along with its performance customisation and parts management. I think it was one of the best simulators of 2000. The PC version that is. The playstation version i have never played but it was very different in physics, graphics, even had some more cars than pc, but overall it was worse than PC.
If in nfs be underground tuning and carbon autosculpt tuning be perfect but i love older nfs game in tunning physics cars and fun,( all ea blackbox nfs titles).
I think Carbon is better in customization because: Nfs Most Wanted is by far the most incomplete: you cant put more than 1 vinyl and you cant move it and there´s no much parts... Underground and 2 is very good for its time, but all the cars looks almost the same (one of the things I hate most about this game is that there were little known cars. All vehicles were bad models, even the final vehicle of the game. Can you imagine a racing game without Chevrolet or Lamborghini?) Carbon: Perfect balanced between customization, pursuits and cars. Carbon is the best for me.
Most Wanted...ok yes it does kinda suck that you cant put more than one vinyl or move them. But think of this: Nearly every car has 5 body kits and they look perfect (all super cars have at least 2 as well.) There's a lot of spoilers, hoods and roof scoops to choose from and you can have em in carbon fibre and well. You can also combine Ultimate and junkman together to make the cars really fast. The games a more standard customisation. It's still one of the best need for speeds ever. I've always played it since i was 10 or something and still do at 20. But yeah they could've made the vinyl options like underground 2 (Top, middle and bottom layer) They should have put more cars in too as well as the Skyline. That car would've been awesome in that game.
