It checks all of the boxes! Luxury, style, handling: on and off road, performance, practical, reliable, economical (13 mpg) and best of all it’s a twin turbo… V6 … ford….. I’d like to know the depreciation rate as well….🫠
Well, judging from the f150 raptor over the past decade, which has held great value, and its main competitor the wrangler, which also holds great value…….id be led to believe depreciation shouldn’t be much of a concern.
Agreed. Funny how the industry is moving away from V8s only to replace them with turbo 6 and I4 ngines that BARELY get better mileage. The new RAM Hurrican I6 is a good example as well. It only gets 1 MAYBE 2 MPG better. Yet they claim the V8s are gas guzzlers, and these little turbo engines are the most efficient thing ever. Seems like a bunch of marketing BS to me
My father still has his 1971 Ford (F-150 equivalent) that he bought new and it gets 13-18 mpg, the same as his 2019 Silverado with all the cylinder deactivation crap … whierd … 🫠
@@weegeemike It isn't just about eeking out fuel economy at this point. The volume of particulate from the V8 is X percent higher and the EPA/CARB mandates have finally made reductions in the number of cylinders, in essence, a mandate. They are barely getting by with the V6...

There must be some reason why Ford has seemingly refused to put a V8 in the Bronco Raptor. It took RAM to manufacture the TRX before they finally decided to produce the F-150 Raptor R.
Love the review! The BFG test….. doesn’t surprise I have a 2019 Lincoln MKT reserve. That will store it well. Also has plenty of room it’s loaded luxury.
Never. It's a way to cheat emissions/fuel economy. If the auto stop can be permanently defeated, the car must be tested with the auto stop disabled. If it reverts to on every time, the car can be tested with it on.
@TheRealCatof Most new cars have a button for it. But, every time you start the car, you have to hit the button again. I want to shut it off once and have it stay off.
Such an over the top, absurd vehicle and I'd take it. It's too big to fit down the assembly line with the flares on. My local Ford dealer had one with under a thousand miles listed for $120k with a used title.
I bought a well maintained 2007 accord within last year. Only cost was so far oil, and an inspection. Even if I destroy it, it would sell for at least 1 grand. This Bronco was over 27x the cost of what I paid for a car, that will both be used likely the same way. I still bet my costs over the next 3 years will be less, not including the 50k+ depreciation.
@@trumpet12345 No joke. So many of these huge trucks and off-roaders are hardly ever used for their intended purpose. Just purchased so the owner can tell everyone around them “hey everyone, I have lots of money so I’m better than you”

Under a Trump admin, this would be a $49k vehicle complete with a 5.0 v8. Car prices damn near doubled under Joe Burden and KamaLIAR Harris clown show.
That is one of the nicest 50 thousand dollar vehicles I've seen lately.

That's because it cost $90k
@@DickbulginheadinWHOOSH
Ha! You got that right! Nowhere near the MSRP. Smh. I'd get a Rover for this price! I'm never going to own an over $100K vehicle anyway, lol.
Well, judging from the f150 raptor over the past decade, which has held great value, and its main competitor the wrangler, which also holds great value…….id be led to believe depreciation shouldn’t be much of a concern.
With 13-14 MPG, it might as well have a V8. Because that was V8 MPG some 20 years ago.

That price is outrageous!! Come on Ford. You know it's not worth that much, retail. The profit margin must be substantial. Great Review!!!
Something crazy with the price is that the Ranger Raptor (same platform underneath and same engine) starts at $55,000
Both are ridiculously overpriced.
2:04 Thank you for including my trademark "yeah🤓" I do agree, awesome ride with an incomprehensible price. It's easy to call a car overpriced these days but my god🤕Out of curiosity though, do you prefer the Wrangler 392 or Braptor?
The only time I drove the 392 was with you in the woods, so it’s not fair to compare 20min vs 7 days, however that v8 sound is intriguing…
96k is too much for this vehicle. It seems more like 50k.
That's a great deal! *hits crack pipe again*
Reminds me of when Jalopnik was worth a damn
Agreed! **shoots a supple mix of hero*n and cra*k** 😂😂
8:20 those seats are sweet looking! Totally worth the extra money 💰 🫠
Surely they’ll fix this with a 5.0. This is a tease for the real deal.
Senses Fail - nice! Used to love one of their early records back in the late 2000's!
V8 bronco would be mint
There must be some reason why Ford has seemingly refused to put a V8 in the Bronco Raptor. It took RAM to manufacture the TRX before they finally decided to produce the F-150 Raptor R.
They'll probably release a Raptor R for $120k
You'd probably spend less than $96k for an old Bronco and your choice of V8 to put inside it.
For approx. the same money you can get a Jeep Wrangler 392
$80K 2024 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro 437 HP 583 TQ 19-22MPG seat 7 lasted 3X longer than the Bronco
What is the depreciation rates between the two🤷♂️
He said...a Toyota.🤣😆
good job buddy. I remember seeing that one in your drive
Love the review! The BFG test….. doesn’t surprise I have a 2019 Lincoln MKT reserve. That will store it well. Also has plenty of room it’s loaded luxury.
Have I been under a rock? Since when did they make a Bronco Raptor?
2022, I think. But it's too expensive MSRP, and the dealer markups have doubled the price. That's why there aren't a lot of them in the wild.
I would walk onto a dealership, ask how much this is and promptly laugh in the face of the sales person and manager and then leave.
Nah, hold off on the laughter until you hear the interest rate and payment! Not to mention the depreciation rate 🤣
@@RustyZipper Haha. But the memories you'll build while that happens 😂😂😂
The fender flares look like they were cut off one of those blue kiddy pools.
When are the car companies going to allow us to turn off the Auto Start/Stop permanently?

An absolute bargain… 🫠
That looks fantastic I’m just not sure it’s worth that price to me
You're not sure??? That shit is outrageously overpriced. It's worth like $37,000
Especially since it has no supercharged v8
Wait until the dealer mark ups
Well, a fool and his money…
Still wouldn’t buy this …. 🫠
$96,000 is Ford on meth?!!! This thing is worth at best $36,786 wth
well it certainly ill be in 3 years lol that's horrific money pissed away
A raptor with a fucking V6 with a 100k price tag???? Fuck No!!!!🤣😂 For 100k we want a roar not a fucking buzzy fart can.
Sounds ricey. Not Racey. This amount of money, can acquire so much more from other brands. Ford is not for me these days. To each their own. 💙😊✌️
Nice Bronco! I just can't stand that 96k price point for a Ford product...
With a v8 70k max how it is 50k max
A quote from P. T. Barnum comes to mind...
Lack of v8 is shameful. Ford has great v8 s in cars now that could be used and also no manual transmission on any but the base engine is dumb too.
These are very cool looking, but I agree, it should have a V8.
Very overpriced like every other new vehicle these days.
It's nice, I just don't think it's '$96,000' nice!
No. Just no. It’s ridiculous how much cars cost nowadays. Big companies are addicted to profit and it shows.

Companies are in business to make money and there's nothing wrong with that. Ford isn't going to lose money out of altruism.
I'd rather have the rubicon 392 over this
