Yeah - she's pretty muscular and strong for a girl - more so than untrained boys her age. You can compare their arms and shoulders at 2:46. He didn't always win when they were straining muscle against muscle, but he made her fight with all of her strength most of the time and did wear her out. I would have liked to see how it played out if they had gone on for another round or 2.

It is just that they are probably around 11 years old as she is advanced (developed) for her age and he has not started yet. At ages 10-14 girls can be fully, or mostly developed while boys may not have started yet so girls have an advantage or seem heavier. Keep in mind fat weighs less than muscle so the girl has probably more fat than he does. By 15/16 when boys start developing, they surpass the girls easily. That is why boys at 14/15 are better (those who train and are advanced) than top professional/Olympic women. I'm sure over half the high school boy's basketball teams could beat any WNBA team and high school boy's times at State track meets are faster than the Olympic women.
@G Fenton What weight class was it? Since boys aren't developed when they enter high school, weight classes start at 103 lbs as opposed to 125 lbs for men's collegiate. So a girl competing at that weight, which is a grown women's weight as NAIW women's collegiate wrestling starts at 101 lbs, is usually competing against non-developed boys. So again this is pre (or just beginning) puberty for a boy. Starting at 125 lbs, girls do not do well against boy. FYI, even MMA has the Atomweight (105 lbs/48 kg) for women.

I don't think the girl is older. At that age girls mature earlier so she may look older but they very well could be the same age. From 10-15 girls can be taller but the same age.

Yes they are, around 106. It is just that this is JV HS, so he is around 14 and she 16. Being a girl she is full grown and he being a boy, a little late in development but not that late for a boy, has not started yet, so they appear to be different sizes. In about 5 years she will still be around 106 and he will be around 135 or maybe a bit bigger and will destroy her within a minute or so.

Some people are genetically fat and have less muscle, men aren't always stronger. Women win these matches sometimes.
They are probably the same age, about 11/12. It is just that girls developer earlier so she was probably close to finished and he hadn't even started. This was taken about 4 years ago so I'm sure he is built and would pin her within a minute or so. She is in the top 8 at 117 lbs for girls in Florida.
Lots of videos do that sometimes the girl is smaller and wins in other videos although not on this channel. Lot of times boys smaller and lots of times girls smaller generally smaller will lose but there are exceptions. A different gal Izabella Frezzo at 10 years old and 64 pounds competed in Class up to 14 years old and 79 pounds beating at least 2 guys each in a different video on her channel. She does not post her losses though so far as I know so don't know how many times she was beat.
in respect to the poll, i think if you upload vids of girls winning from time to time, that creates a sense of suspense, because you don't know who will win until the end of the video, and that makes the match much more exiting

In most cases when girls challenge me (as a test) and then see the smile on my face and hear me say "OK, let's go" they quickly start backing out... sometimes I can talk them into doing a quick friendly, but usually not--girls like to "gut check" test guys to see if they're for real. I don't think the girl is older. At that age girls mature earlier so she may look older but they very well could be the same age. From 10-15 girls can be taller but the same age.

@@janefelix3821 they would not allow it? Of course they allow it. It happens. He is a headlength shorter, his arms and legs are similar to her's and her hips are fully developed female, which means hevy while his are small. There is a big difference in size and weight.

Yes they are, around 106. It is just that this is JV HS, so he is around 14 and she 16. Being a girl she is full grown and he being a boy, a little late in development but not that late for a boy, has not started yet, so they appear to be different sizes. In about 5 years she will still be around 106 and he will be around 135 or maybe a bit bigger and will destroy her within a minute or so.

Sometimes the girl is smaller Izabella Frezzo has beaten some guys bigger than her when he was 10 years old and 64 pounds and competed in a class against boys up to 14 years old and 79 pounds. I'm not sure of her win loss record though as her channel does not show her loses.

@@depressives4470 that's actually not true. each person is built different, but even though it is a fact that men are naturally stronger, they are only stronger when they act upon that ability. Some people are genetically fat and have less muscle, men aren't always stronger. Women win these matches sometimes.

They are probably the same age, about 11/12. It is just that girls developer earlier so she was probably close to finished and he hadn't even started. This was taken about 4 years ago so I'm sure he is built and would pin her within a minute or so. She is in the top 8 at 117 lbs for girls in Florida.

Lots of videos do that sometimes the girl is smaller and wins in other videos although not on this channel. Lot of times boys smaller and lots of times girls smaller generally smaller will lose but there are exceptions. A different gal Izabella Frezzo at 10 years old and 64 pounds competed in Class up to 14 years old and 79 pounds beating at least 2 guys each in a different video on her channel. She does not post her losses though so far as I know so don't know how many times she was beat.

I've wrestled girls bigger and heavier than me (for fun)... but most girls are smart enough not to challenge guys. In most cases when girls challenge me (as a test) and then see the smile on my face and hear me say "OK, let's go" they quickly start backing out... sometimes I can talk them into doing a quick friendly, but usually not--girls like to "gut check" test guys to see if they're for real. Most girls don't actually want to wrestle or fight unless they know they will win--most girls don't want a challenge, they want an easy win or a guy they know is for real as a boyfriend.

In the second round, him starting in down position, he couldn't get out (bc with her overweight sat on his little frame and having a foot in, one time an illegal figure4), but that doesn't mean scoring. She didn't score even in the top position. In wrestling you have to score to win, not to lay on an opponent while achieving nothing. That could be penalized with stalling
