He is correct in that greater personalization is a better sales pitch, you just have to balance volume in addition to the personalization. But the fact that he says he hasn't been on Linkedin in awhile, and that he never checks his messages, doesn't land super well for the effectiveness of this strategy 😬😬😬

I totally agree with this. The key to building influence and trust is developing rapport. I mean that's where it starts. And you can't develop rapport via automation by blasting the same message.

I like your advice, very helpful. Thanks for sharing the real example. Outreach must be personal. Recipients are busy, especially successful ones.
Internet is overwhelmed with SPAM. It takes time to delete messages on email, Linkedin. I’m not sure that spam messages give any results. It possibly works one in a thousand times. And this one time is not profitable at all because real influencers get thousands templates and delete them without regret.
Learn your recipients and think how you can help them. People are selfish they don’t care about you. They only care about yourself. Give them what they want then they pay back.

Very helpful I really liked the way you explained the process. I am in the graphic design industry and I have been providing my services to my clients all over the world. I learned through my experience that most of the client want trust and someone who they can work with personally someone who understands the needs. Client would most of the time would reject you if you are copy pasting stuff. A worthy client would not be interested in what you do what your experience is but would rather want to know what you can do for their business better than anyone else. So you need to get in that trust factor. Before talking to someone clients do look at their portfolios and customer reviews that way they can build trust in you. Strong portfolio and positive client reviews can do it for you. Try not to think too much and talk too much about price rather than providing a solution. Be part of the solution rather than being annoying by asking for payments all the time, I said this because individuals do worry about the payments rather than focusing on the project itself ;) Best of luck
