    this is a super high yield guide. i feel like you really struck a good balance between being complete and respectful of my time as audience. This is great a build guide, but i'd love to see a gameplay guide

    This is a good guide overall, but I would like to point out a few things:
    - Incense doesn't increase resistances. It increases the size of you corruption / affliction bar. So other than for some very specific cases (tempest?), it's mostly useless for mutations.
    - Leadership is an empower bonus, so it stack additively with other empower bonuses. So its real relative impact is more like a +7% damage increase when players have a powerful honing stone, a damage increase ring and oblivion for example. Defensive formation on the other hand is very valuable to reduce damages on you DPS players on damages types they are NOT gemmed for (e.g. the infamous wiping mage in lazarus on non-void mutations, non-ice glacial tarn, etc).
    - You didn't mention how good upheaval is for tanks with the 25% CD reduction on hit and the perk (unfortunately disabled at the moment) that transfer your debufs to the target. But hey, can't use beloved butcher and whirling blade any more... which is more for a DPS build in my opinion.
    - You didn't mention the value of having a fast stun with shield bash (especially if not using hammer off-hand) to interrupt casters, instead of shield rush.

      Thanks for the comment! I tried keeping the build section limited but maybe I should go more in depth on the abilities of the weapons in a future video. I figured if I did it would double a 20 minute video lol
      Thanks for the info on incense!

    I'm a big boi on Valhalla right now and I have to say that I'm fucking pissed at AGS for their mutation rotations. I've been waiting for WEEKS to run depths for stopwatch and I have butcher at 725 ready to go.

      Why would you want stopwatch tho? Are you playing as a tank? Cause if so, Stopwatch is far from optimal and not necessary at all. :)

    • @TacticalToeNail
      @TacticalToeNail 28 дней назад

      Yeah, man, you don't really need stopwatch. Just throw out taunts with your secondary weapon and maintain aggro easily with Butcher. Been doing it in m3 and raid for weeks

    What's your thoughts on the wall artifact in PVE

    • @BraidedZero
      @BraidedZero  Месяц назад +2

      If you have it, and don't have Voidplate, use it! I try not to dodge anyways so that just helps out

    • @2ambaby198
      @2ambaby198 Месяц назад

      @ I have both but tbh I kind of like the wall better when tanking might be because of the bigger stamina buff idk

    • @BraidedZero
      @BraidedZero  Месяц назад +2

      Oh yeah, you can hold block for a long time with the Wall. I do love that!

      PVE it fucks hard PVP just depends what you are doing.

    • @StevenDubya
      @StevenDubya 28 дней назад

      The Wall is a great go to if you don't want/need the dodge. If you need movement ensure you at least use a weapon ability with movement instead of dodge. The elemental aversion (25%) and extra stamina (33%) are HUGE.
      Having used both I believe The Wall and Void Darkplate both play their parts. Currently after having upgrade Voidplate I use it more often with a Shield almost identical to The Wall without Elemental Aversion.
      Hope this helps.

    First I apologize as Ive been following some of your vidz since launch but didn't hit subscribe. I fixed that.
    Love to hear more of your thoughts on voidplate vs wall. You touched on it a bit and kind of danced around it. Why did you go VP over wall? (I have both and trying to figure which one to 725 first)

    • @BraidedZero
      @BraidedZero  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks for subscribing! That means a lot.
      So voidplate and wall are situational choices and in the end it's a preference choice. If that makes sense. If you dodge a lot or you want to be tanky even when your shield is put away, go voidplate. If you block a lot and don't care about dodging, use the wall. If you're secondary is greatsword, spear, or anything else with some mobility, you should go voidplate. If you're secondary is hammer and you don't have a ton of mobility (or care about mobility) then go wall.
      I almost always use voidplate. The few times I'll run the wall is when I'm against a particularly difficult boss that I'm not able to dodge their attacks and am just looking to block a bunch of attacks. I think it should be said that in the end, I believe the Wall makes you more tanky, you just have to block to be the most tanky (although Chromatic Ward and Shield Wall apply while it's not active or you're not blocking).
      I should probably make a more in depth video on it. Thanks for the idea lol

      @@BraidedZero Id watch it. Also examples of bosses to use either. Always helpful to show what perk you added at 725 upgrade!

    • @BraidedZero
      @BraidedZero  Месяц назад +1

      I usually add health when I upgrade armor pieces but I'm not near my PC so I cannot confirm. Also, after I said it, I'm not sure if Chromatic Ward does apply while it's not out. So I need to test that as well.

    U dont need refreshching on a tank

    • @BraidedZero
      @BraidedZero  14 дней назад

      Need? No. But it's nice. Health, Enchanted Ward, and Elemental Aversion is better but refreshing isn't a bad place to start for even advanced builds. Especially if you are super unlucky with GT drops

    Wear the gear you want to use like med/light/heavy and have magnify on the perk you want. Do elite chest runs and mutations and you’ll be set for gear.

    • @TacticalToeNail
      @TacticalToeNail 28 дней назад

      @@BraidedZeroyeah, for sure. You shouldn't be running opals, though. Equip gems specific to the dungeon element, protection amulet, and tower shield with specific element ward. That's about 60% element resistance. Try it. It's super fun.

      Lol good luck tanking M3s (or even M2s for that matter) in light armor😂😂
      You people are just dps with a carnelian gem pretending to be a tank, but serious tanking is something else entirely

    • @TacticalToeNail
      @TacticalToeNail 21 день назад

      @@flyingmatteo89 it doesn't require good luck, my man. It requires good skill and good gear with good perks. It's a great way to make the leaderboards. Plenty of videos and guides with people doing it. The game has been out for years. If you're not interested in that, all good. No reason to be silly about it.
