I do one thing at a time, mostly because I can't trust my cat not to chew on the working yarn, and it's easier to keep one project safe from the beast than multiple. She is a burden of love, that beast. Great video, hope to see how the final blanket turns out!

I always try to have two projects going. The more they differ from each other (hook size, yarn weight, stitch type/pattern), the better. Alternating between projects every 20 minutes or so reduces strain and fatigue because I'm changing up what motions I'm doing.
That's is a clever trick! I'm actually thinking of giving this yarn a try now.

I try to do one at a time but if I have a big WIP then I tend to do little ones all in between working on the big one. Your squares look good. I'm working with this yarn, too. My favorite thing about it is that I don't have to pick out my colors. Takes me forever to select colors on scrappy projects.

These Tips always helped me, i decided to share them with you. Tip1: Pick what YOU like!
Tip2: if you like monochromatic colors, you could pick the same (1) color in many shades (from light to dark, or dark to light) that you like.
Tip 2: maybe you could take a Screenshot of a Colorwheel on your Phone and pick from any of the 'Complimentary Colors' that you see (they're the colors that you see on the opposite side of the colorwheel). Combine the two and voila.
Tip 3: Think of all the Seasons, and how cool or warm you'd like the finished Piece to feel against your skin.
      ...Thick yarn, Winter warm/soft.
Thin Yarn, Summer cool/light and so on... plus...you might want to use the Colors you see in Nature, during that time of the year that you'd like to use and wear the piece you are wanting to make..
Hope this helps my friend, Good Luck with your project. 👋🧶🎨

I get 15 squares out of all the skeins I have tried so if you are not getting that number then you are throwing away one granny square lol
