Ivor Arbiter owned the shop. But Eddie Stokes was the artist. Also the drop-T log feature THE in small caps above Beatles, and EATLES was also in small caps. That contributed to the design.
The font is not 'sans serif'. Serif is a 'foot' if you will, on the stems of the letter, in this case the slight outward curl on the letters. A sans serif font is one without any flourishes, generally straight up and down with 90 degree angles on non-curving letters.
George Martin DID NOT bring Ringo Starr into the band!! What dross, I wish these so-called Beatles info video channels on you tube could get their facts right and at least do their research. Rubbish.
I think what he probably meant was that George Martin said that Pete Best wasn’t good enough for the studio, and so the Beatles then fired him and hired Ringo (who George Martin was initially thrilled with either)
@@awesomedallastours One inaccuracy mean that everything else should be questioned. This was a pretty glaring mistake by someone who clearly is not that knowledgeable about the Beatles. I am not even sure that Ringo was in the store when the kit was purchased. This video is the first time I have ever heard that
Very interesting. Thank you. I didn't know this or, if I did, I forgot. I used to be a walking Beatles facts machine but that was then and I'm too old to remember everything now. I have been to a special, one off, exhibition at Abbey Road, way back in 82 I think. I have held all the instruments and sat at that drum kit. Studio 2 was being ripped out so they did this thing. It was, well FAB.

The rock group KISS has the same simplicity in their iconic logo as well . . AND the same impact 💯

What is the difference between "enduring" and "endlessly enduring"?

George Martin brought Ringo into the band? That will be news to anyone who knows about the Beatles. What other inaccuracies are in your video?
