Never let the keyboard warriors get you down Lucas! I've got 6 years as an infantryman and another 2 as private security. I've done a lot of shooting with both (private side definitely is getting me more range time) and I can't shoot anywhere close to you. Fact is if you lost half your skill under real danger/pressure you'd still be better than many soldiers/officers I've worked with. Stay humble and keep training. I hope you never have to use your skill in a real life environment. But if shooting did go down, I'd want you on my side!
Seriously... as active duty army.. I haven't met any I have worked with that can shoot like this.. so many useless fat keyboard warriors living in their moms basement think they know what they are talking about because they play call of duty.
His movement reminds me of those old fashion chinese martial artist stories, like 'practice one move a thounsand times until you can poke throught stone with one finger' thing...
Honestly your skills are impressive. And I saw someone mentioned Zero in the comments...oh please, for bullet sake, never become as self centred as him. You make running the gauntlet look like precision fun while remaining humble. Keep posting. Love your work.
Andres Neder fair question. As an example I will offer this: There is one video where Zero talks about some rifle grip that he invented and how great his invention is, where as T Rex (even though they do sell tactical gear) on more than one occasion simply says "spend your money on ammo and time at the range to increase your proficiency" which you must admit is the best advice! Oh and also always mentioning things like trigger discipline, safety discipline, basic fundamentals to shooting and this is just some of the things. I would rather have someone who went through this school then the school of "Oh I can light it up real quick". :)
T.Rex Arms, I have been a little to harsh in my critiques of you. For that I am sorry, please forgive me. The production value of your videos is fantastic, and for that you have my admiration. Also, I appreciate your dedication to training and becoming a proficient shooter, and a gun enthusiast. The world always needs more peeps like you and me. Keep doing what you are doing because you do it WELL. Lastly, a piece of advice, when someone asks something like, "why do you have all that kit?", your simple answer need only be: "Because I think its really cool". No other reason or justification beyond that is needed. Keep Your Powder Dry.
+The Walking Dad thanks man. But that isn't why I wear kit. I actually rarely wear kit and it sucks to shoot in. I'd rather just run a belt and go fast then wear a plate carrier and helmet. But because of the equipment I design and people I work with, I have to be knowledgeable about the gear they use. And that requires using that gear from time to time. In the majority of my videos here on RUclips you'll see I'm just wearing a belt. There's a reason for that. Haha
Looked at the comments again bellow this video. And I am just amazed by the amount of trolls here. Lucas honestly keep doing what you doing for bullets sake and the rest of us. And all those apparent SF and Vets that give negative comments to you - just ignore them. The sad truth about them is that if they were ever engaged by someone with your offence skills they would not be engaging in a shoot out they would call an air strike for help! :) Keep posting and ignore the chaff! Love your work...
Russ Hogan hahaha!! You have no idea how right you are. If close air support is available, but if not then artillery sure as hell does the job. That was damn funny and made my night!
Anyone talking shit on this dude needs to get a life of their own. Why are you worried about what he wears or how he trains? These videos clearly aren’t for you. So just move along to another channel. Dude is a great shot and is knowledgeable. He posts these videos as entertainment and business promotion. People are so hateful to anyone more successful than them. It’s despicable.
By far the definition of hard work and proper training in such a short time could do you wonders. How many times do you shoot in a week and how many rounds approximately Lucas? Good job and awesome video! More power!
+Palmer's Guns & Gear I think it's almost as good. I don't feel like I NEED a stock to shoot the rifle well. Only downside the brace is it may not hold up as well to mortaring to clear a bolt override. I should try sometime.
T.REX ARMS yea try and let me know cause I'm bout to put them on two rifles while waitin for sbr stamp and I won't them to be ready for war training or whatever else I may need them for
Really enjoyed seeing you drill shooting ambi at 0:30 This is something I've been working on but I'm running into a small issue. I am right hand right eye dominant, and I shoot right handed with both eyes open when using my red dot. When I transition to shooting left handed, I transition faster and get the dot on target faster if I close my right (dominant) eye. If I transition to left handed and try get the dot on target while keeping both eyes open, I invariably lose the dot. Would you suggest continuing to drill shooting left handed with my right eye closed, trying to shoot both eyes open on both sides , or possibly something else? Also do you ever practice left handed reloads? Right now if I lock back when shooting left handed I transition right, reload, then continue.
I see a lot of your AR-15's are painted, I think an amazing video about the benefits and the do's and don'ts to painting and what specific paint you use to do so would be a great idea for the channel!
I’m a big fan of the channel, keep up the great work. So how did you manage to fit the Surefire dual pad on the 11:00 position underneath the atpial? Thanks!

The last time I tried a support side transition drill, I literally threw my gun on the floor (after bouncing it off the wall.) I was happy about the "natural wear" this put on my gun, but less so about what it meant for my skills.
When you switch sides .. why you not switch first shoulders and than hands (first from trigger to front and then from front to trigger) .. i do not blame i am just curious
i always cringe seeing people training in full tac gear at the range. However if you are as smooth and skilled as this guy I have zero reason to judge. some of the smoothest handling i've ever seen.

I was wondering if you could do a review with the GEMTECH Suppressed Bolt Carrier and the Radian Raptor-SD Silencer Option Charging handle both. Do a couple of rounds of shooting with out them, then a couple of rounds with just one of them, and finally a round utilizing both together, #1 to illustrate the issue with blow back gasses, #2 how those products work to eliminate the blow back, and #3 how effective or ineffective they are when working together to eliminate the problem. Also would you recommend an adjustable gas block with the GEMTECH Suppressed Bolt Carrier Group or will a standard gas block suffice? I'm building a Daniel Defense MK-18 MOD 1 for suppressed use and am wanting to see what works well by it's self or in conjunction with other components that will keep both the weapon and shooter operating synergistically without to much of a sacrifice in performance in either, and if these things work that well together, is there a cheaper way to achieve the same result or are you going to wind up breaking the bank to achieve the desired result? You have been very honest, and very knowledgeable with your content, I believe this topic will both illustrate the operational effectiveness of these items, give you a chance to give them a grade, and cover the wide range of possibilities the AR Platform offers with and without the products. Oh and hey I've hit the Like and Subscribe Brother so I hope to hear back from you soon, keep the content coming, your feet wet and powder dry. Drew
When shooting support side, is there a reason you're not wrapping your thumb around the grip? I'm not sure where to begin with support side, so genuinely curious.

Just a simple point i picked up and why i personally carry single point slings, when you did the right to left transitions that sling could have gotten in the way. And that can cost a life.
+Reuben Kruger single point slings could "cost a life" since it's not as stable when you go hands on with someone or to climb something. Pros and cons to both. But there's a reason most people run two point slings over single point.
Good point. ill get a few of both and test them out. i have experienced the instability especially while running. what can be done to not let that sling get in the way of your support finger?
