I worked at the Cambridge plant for 18 years. When a new model was in a pilot project (redesign) NO ONE even got a sniff of what it looked like unless you were on the pilot team. Everything was top secret.
Would love the Storm Cloud color from the Crown onto the RAV4 as a new XSE or Linited color, the Cavalry Blue is nice but the Storm Cloud is a notch above..
It’s a new model. Speculation is that at its core it’s based on the current 5th gen RAV. From all the things I’ve read and speculation is that it will maybe have the new Arene software and, all models will be hybrid at least, Safety Sense 3.5 and possibly longer range Prime models.
If I wanted to get the 2026 RAV4 Hybrid, when should I put the request in to order it so I don't wait years for it? I'm on a 2020 RAV4 Hybrid right now and I love it.
@@alvinsimba734 I do love it but I'm looking forward to the next big tech upgrade with the 2026. Interestingly Toyota contacted me wanting to buy my RAV4 offering cash of $35000. Good trade in value.
After the retool in march of 2025 at the Kentucky Toyota plant they will start producing the new rav4 prime. Because that same month the new Toyota battery plant in North Carolina will start producing batteries on 4 lines and 10 more lines to come in the next year. My guess is that the new rav4 prime will come out in April of 2025 and they will call it a 2026. Have fun.
Well, here in Vancouver, BC, waiting time gets even longer. I got in a waiting line in January 2023. The waiting time was 2 years. Last week I called the dealer and he said that the waiting time now is 3 years. People who order in April 2022, getting RAV 4 Hybrid now. 🤣
Must be a production issue in North America. In the UK delivery times are less than two months, and we only have the hybrid or plug-in hybrid options, so I don’t think it’s hybrids that are slowing things down. Ours do come from Japan though.
@@ffotograffydd I prefer to pay by cash, with no finance, don't feed the bank. One lady from a Honda dealer told me that's why my waiting time is longer. I say thanks for clearing up the situation 😂
So if Toyota is looking to change the RAV4 to hybrid only. Are they going to increase production to facilitate the many orders they take in? Because it’ll be really stupid if Toyota makes people wait for a hybrid when a gas version could be delivered faster. They should chance to hybrid when they can deliver on their orders
No they wont increase production speed.. so they can make it loook like its high demand car and so keep increasing the prices by creating a artificial scarcity and also every few years toyota also removes the features for example 2019 rav4 LE had alloy wheels in 2020 Rav4 LE they did not give alloy wheels....2019 to 2022 rav4 XLE had fog lights..2023 and 2024 XLE they did not give fog lights
it will be months, maybe years. I would get the Regular engine model and wait for hybrid later. It may be long time, get the gas model if the wait is too long
I have a very good feeling based on past experiences with toyota..the ongoing current Rav4 design looks amazing but toyota will relaunch a New Rav4 and it will be ugly design..they have done this with corolla ..until 2013 corolla had decent design in and out...2014 onwards 2 new corolla designs were launched both extremely ugly ewww dirty.....and for hybrid only is the way to go just because you get delivery faster no....i like to buy gas engine because it has the best 8 speed automatix transmission which is bullet proof and long life and gives a better driving feel with gear changing feel...hybrid has Nonsense E- CVT transmission which has no actual gears and gives unsatisfactory driving feel pleasure and also CVT transmission is not very strong bulletproof and not very Reliable for long life NO NO NO CVT...just becauase hybrid ( CVT ) Saves a bit more on gas does not mean its better

the 2025 will be a redesign. it was shown to dealer principals and General Mangers. It will be first quoter of 2025 all hybrids no gas models.

I ordered a 2025 RAV4, the dealership told me it’s the same design as 2024, a little bit more expensive though, ETA Jan 2025
from which dealership ? postal code ?
@@ahmedbilal8508 this is not in the US, my local dealership imports the car directly from Japan

Whats the differences for the 25s to 24s?

I wonder if Toyota will fix, permently, the rear electrical cable on the 2025?
I think they fixed it a few years ago. In North America the problem with cable had name - Cable Gate
Will it come with safety 3.0?
I miss the good old days when body styles changed every September
1 year wait time? What's the point of even talking about 2025?

I am driving rav4 1997 in Cambodia
It's easier to maintain older cars in a warm country.

gas rav4 is awesome too
Toyota can't keep up with the demand on hybrid and it will be like that for a while. The 2025 Mazda CX-50 will use Toyota hybrid system and engine.

Hopefully Toyota will never revise the rav4 because if it happens the 2.5 engine won't exist
Don't wory. Toyota will keep 2.5L engine for the redesign like 2025 Camry.
