The best availability date I got was 12 months (aka 1 year) with a worst delivery quote of 18 months. That delivery window applies to any of the hybrid versions. Non hybrid versions are 9-12 months. It feels like Toyota may be planning to migrate to a 2026 major redesign and are trying to secure a huge backlog for what is termed an “end of life” build. That would also support a “stack ‘em high and sell ‘em cheap” pricing strategy. In any case lining up for a 12 month queue is ridiculous. But waiting for a 2026 model might mean a 2027/28 delivery. I'm holding out for the redesign, and I would be extremely disappointed if, as you say, the exterior is not redesigned. We've been looking at the current RAV4 for 5 years now. Enough already. I really hope you are wrong and we get something sleeker and more modern that stands out, and is worthy of the moniker 'redesign'. And while I maintain that efficiency and reliability are paramount, if I am spending this much on a vehicle, I also have to love the appearance.
