The fans always forget that Chuck E Cheese as a company doesn’t revolve around them. They care more about the people operating the stores than the fans who come to visit. And I completely understand the removal of the animatronics and such. Maintenance for them is always really high and it comes out of the stores pockets. Constantly replacing everything gets costly so it’s better that they just replace what’s already broken than to continue wasting money to keep them up to shape. This is why the stores that had the best condition stages remodeled. And the same goes for these old and retro games. They’re being removed because it’s likely that the company that once produced these games don’t carry the parts to repair and operate them anymore. And expect modernization in everything. This is a world where gray, white, and black are the hottest colors around right now and all the big chains are gonna wanna follow after these trends. We don’t live in the 2000s anymore, we gotta move on.
I went to Arlington for my birthday last week and it was just disappointing seeing it without the stage I'll always miss it but I do know the bots were kept for future use supposedly
I think they should have kept the old phase 3 art work instead of the animatronics but don’t get me wrong I’m super glad they saved the animatronics but that’s the last store ever to have phase 2/3 art work I mean come on!
I used to be a huge Chuck E. Cheese fan but once they started doing this more and eventually removing the animatronics to my location I just lost interest. Without the animatronics and nostalgic games it’s just an arcade
1:02 Well, I knew it. None of this would've happened if Chuck E. Cheese brought back my favorite arcade game, along with other arcade games as well. This is very disappointing to a lot of CEC fans especially in the pandemic! My local Chuck E. Cheese had the Mad Wave Motion Theater one time along with Wave Runner arcade game made by SEGA, now being removed and being replaced with new arcade games such as: Angry Birds Arcade, H2 Overdrive and Nitro Trucks, in which I don't have a problem with that. But at the same time, the remodels still kept going and the 2.0 kept getting a lot worse!
I like the amount of 2.0 rants popping lately, should really say something about the abhorrence of these remodels.

Yeah, I get it. Costs and modernization. The animatronics were so iconic though. Still hurts

I think 2.0 isn’t *that* bad. But I do feel like it needs more to it. I might make a video on how CEC might still be able to fix 2.0.
it's horrible 😊

Throwback moment
3:12 now there's 2 mouses
2.0 is ok, it just needs better entertainment
Dublin is will get 2.0 next month or 1.5
Dublin has removed 2.0 to October
If Dublin’s remodeling they should get new bots for La mesa because the first new bots for La mesa from Murrieta went to national city
@@3105ace yea but I haven’t heard they were getting them yet I just said what my plan would be like
Bro not happening because la mesa is far away from Dublin do you know what I mean
Maybe if they get Citrus Heights 1 stage bots because it’s closer like 1 hour form Dublin form Sacramento
I wish they had robots designed by Mark Rober that worked at Chuck E Cheese. They should hire Elon Musk to make it more modern and automated.
No….. just no…
Why not?
Too expensive
Why?
Cuz animatronics are expensive.
Chuck e cheese no longer exists
